I'm referring to the incoming purse bid.

Jacobs shouldn't be making less than he made to fight Quillen.

Loeffler is very easy to deal with and fair, even Hearn said that.
Basically if Jacobs failed to negotiate and let it go to 75-25 bid then it's his fault and he's a twat.

Exactly, Jacobs people have let him down if they couldn't negotiate a better deal than 75/25, they have basically backed him in to a corner and the only way out is to fight for a 25% split or duck Golovkin and take all the abuse that comes with it.

Jacobs isn't even a real world champion, I have no idea what he thinks he is worth but I think 25% is about right, I think it's very fair all things considered.

So Lemieux was able to get 43% but Jacobs gets 25%?

Wade got 20%. Macklin got almost 50%, Lemieux got 43%. Am I missing something?

-Lemieux was a proper unification and agreed on by the two sides what the split was be.

-Wade was the IBF mandatory, standard is 25%, however being that Wade was ranked below the injured Johnson, he was intital to less as per IBF rules.

-Macklin was a voluntary so agreed up the split by the two teams.

75/ 25 is the standard split for Super champ v Regular champ as per WBA rules (although they very rarely force the two to fight in reality)

The only possible explanation is that they don't want Jacobs.

    They'd rather fight Burns

Let's hope Jacobs is true to his word and accepts the offer. If he throws a his system fit and moves foward towards another direction, it will be a blatant duck on his part. Make it happen Danny!

Macklin was a few years ago, before GGG emerged as a p4p elite. Decent name on resume.

Lemieux held a belt GGG needed and was part of his first PPV.

Jacobs doesn't have anything GGG wants that worth conceding anything. If DJ wants to actually be a champion, he needs to earn it.

Let's be real, GGG would be the hands-down favorite and wouldn't get too much credit for beating Jacobs from his detractors. He deserves what every other (glorified) mandatory is given in a purse bid: 25%.

It's a fight that's really should happen. I hope it gets a purse bid of $8M+ and Jacobs gets a career high payday in his hometown, and GGG scratches off another top MW.

What an opportunity for Danny Jacobs. He accepts the deal fights GGG & defeats him? He is now the Undisputed Middleweight Champion of the World? He is KING of the Ring!!!!
:osvaisacagar::ole:. BUT Should GGG defeat him then what has he lost ?? His credibility
is through the roof. He's a hero who went out on his shield. Being #2 middleweight to GGG there is no shame in that. He will have the respect of EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! BUT should he do a Pollo Canelo & capitulate
he would be unable to live with the stigma that has engulfed Pollo & Fishnets Danny is above that I hope !!!!!! Go Danny !!!!

Even if GGG was chasing & fighting lower weighted fighters why would he have to do it???
Simply because there isn't a 160 pound fighter that has the stones to get in the ring & fight him!!!!
Its that simple. GGG is having to suffer because the 160 pound roster is full of

Maybe GGG should offer him 30k like Ward offered the last bum he fought. Then he could have a resume like Ward's.
