Anyone else enjoy Fury's 1 year reign more than Klitschko's 10 year reign?

    No.

I loved Fury and cheered him on as he beat Wlad.

His "reign" was garbage. He never fought once. And the repeated cancellations were even worse than doing nothing.

I'll give Fury that. He could out-troll any boxer in history. He was hell of funny.

But at the end of the day I want to see fighting, and he didn't deliver on that.

Christ OP you have a point, 12 months of Fury as champion was seemingly more eventful than Wlad's entire reign, though that's not necessarily a good thing. Also it may just be the fact Fury's issues are current and fresh in our minds.

But on reflection Wlad did have some highlights. The Pulev fight was quite entertaining, the build up to the Haye fight was pretty eventful. Then you had Chisora doing his thing and disrespecting both brothers. Then you have Shannon Briggs chasing Wlad around screaming "Lets go champ!"

Sure it was always someone else providing the entertainment but he was there and it was during his reign.

Well its a step above Ward winning the Super 6 who fights once every two years in boring fights and his only way of staying relevant was to piggy back of GGGs name.

Plus I think he's done the division a favor getting them off Vlad. If Vlad would've beat Fury his next two fights looked like they was gonna be Glazkov and Chagev 2. Who would've given a **** about that. Now all sorts of interesting scenarios round the corner.

So if a couple of weird pressconferences, dressing up, pulling out with ankle injury/drug investigation and pulling out due to mental issues/drug investigation, without stepping in the ring once, beats an 18 defence streak with 13 KO's against 11 top10 opponents and 6 top20 ones, then boxing is not for you obviously.
Maybe WWE, where the show is what it's all about and the ring stuff is just all show and comes secondairy.

Even in the WWE the champion defends his title.

Fury is a disgrace. The only thing I'm gonna enjoy is this sport being rid of this fat oaf.

    Not even kidding.

Although, if it hadn't been Fury, Wlad would have been beaten soon anyway.

Fury's "reign" was a farce. He won one fight and was unable to get in the ring again. He basically held the entire division hostage with his antics, nothing enjoyable about that. We want to see active champions who get in the ring.

Sorry I am not entertained by a guy singing or throwing over a table in a presser. Or showing up in a batman costume. That's just lame slapstick, sorry not funny at all.

I like serious boxers who take their profession seriously. Who know dediction in training, and in life. After all we look up to them for their ability to conquer hardships and challenges in life and sport, don't we? I can't bring myself to look up to Fury at all. I pity him.

Fury gets one title opportunity - Ring Fighter Of The Year.

Wlad 15 years of title fights - Nothing.

Very much so. I'd rather read about Fury than watch Dr Ironbore.
