GGG doesn't owe Jacobs a living. The idea that he in anyway has to do more to make the fight is absurd.

Its a mandatory defence and the WBA have spoken. GGG doesn't need to do anymore.

ive never said ggg should take a flat fee...or a flat fee and a catchweight.....but he should have been open to the catchweight....or at least open to realizing that if he wants to fight canelo he would have to make a concession somewhere....because that's how it works.....but ggg thinks hes bigger in the sport than he really is.....he thinks he doesn't have to move for anyone....and if he keeps it up hes going to get frozen out....people aren't going to wanna deal with him if he acts like hes Oscar or Floyd........soon hell have to set up a residency in the uk and work exclusively with eddie hearn if he keeps this up

A couple of points.

1) Schlongmaster should shut his gob when it comes to grammar. He's amongst the worst posters here when it comes to writing skills, what with his fullstopless sentences, "u" for "you" and his penchant for ignoring capitalization.

2) Your pointing out of the double standards is apropos. There is nothing inconsistent about Golovkin's approach, as he was content to let it go to purse bids with Canelo, and he is equally content to let it go to purse bids with Jacobs. Jacobs comes with nothing - no belt, no viewers - and wants to put the squeeze on? Look, I would like to see this fight made. I even think that they should offer Jacobs more in order to make it. But I'm not the guy whose going to get socked in the mouth, so if they let it go to purse bids, so be it. Rules are rules.

3) Schlong complains about Golovkin being "in the driver's seat". Golovkin is always in the driver's seat, because he will ktfo anybody at 160 and his opponents know it. That's why Canelo ran and that's why it looks like Jacobs is going to scarper as well.

Losers don't get respect from the fans, you know this. And respect isn't going to put food on the table. You're telling me Jacobs should fight for pride and Golovkin shouldn't? If Golovkin had as much pride as you expect Jacobs to have, he'd work out a deal instead of sticking with 75/25.

Face it, Golovkin feels he's entitled to more, and so does Jacobs. I don't understand why Jacobs is getting flak for wanting 15% more while Golovkin gets a pass for not accepting 15% less. Both men are doing the exact same thing.

Golovkin didn't want to concede to Canelo either.
