No he won't. PBF already fought and beat Canelo years ago he also made more than GGG will against Canelo and the numbers for PBF-Canelo will dwarf Canelo-GGG. Now I'll ask you again why would he be jealous?

 

PBF is a guy that needs the spotlight on him. He's OK with Canelo getting some shine, because he beat Canelo. He's not so happy with Golovkin getting the limelight because he could very well beat Canelo much more convincingly than he did.

I think it's kinda stupid tbh, because GGG and Floyd aren't even in the same weigth class.

Floyd doesn't like guys who aren't held to his standard and given credit for lessor accomplishments and "media creations", a term he coined himself. G fits the bill nicely. Floyd earned his 15 million dollar paydays. G is riding on Canelos marketability and drawing power. He would never garner 15 million on his own. He probably hasn't sold 200k ppv yet and we all know his numbers are inflated before one of you clowns tells me the "official" numbers.

In reality, it would be tough for G to even be a HOF with his current resume. He fought tooth and nail with his first B level opponent inJacobs. G if he didn't have power would be a C+ fighter. This is why he doesn't move up and actually challenge himself.

He needs to win this Canelo fight. Canelo isn't elite but he's still a higher caliber fighter than 99% of everyone G has fought professionally.

You guys are already making excuses that G is old. You boast that he KO's heavyweights yet still cry over Jacobs not adhering to the IBF's same day weigh in bs which is the only organization that still does it because you fear any advantages over your little hypejob.

The trend has been that he's looked worse each time the competition has stepped up. If G had fought Canelo the last fight, I'm pretty sure Saul would've got the nod and there would've been a good chance that weak knockdown would've been ruled as a trip.

This fight is where hype diminishes and all that matters is who can produce the most. 200k can't match 1mill. A 35 year old with a cult following of band wagoners isn't going to sway reality. If G doesn't get the KO, he will lose. He doesn't have good enough defense to pitch shut outs so a jab isn't going to get him a victory this time. Just telling you all right now so you don't get angry when it does happen.

This is just a money grab. HBO will choose Canelo over G. The worse that will happen imo will be a draw. That's probably with a G knockdown.

Floyd beat the guy to become the guy. G is relying on hype alone. Floyd was a consistent 300k ppv fighter before Hoya which did do 2.4 million. That was the record ever at the time buddy. Canelo/G will only do around 1 mill. Floyd's first ppv with Gatti did more than G's first 2. Sorry. And yes, in today's era, Canelo is an "elite" fighter but that's not saying much. I don't think he's even at the level of a prime Sergio Martinez right now tbh.
