WBA rules in favour of GGG 75/25 purse split with Jacobs

I have no idea of Jacobs financial situation so whatever choice he makes is up to him. I do know that if he believes in himself and his skills, he can do much better than the peanuts that he is being offered. He should never let the WBA dictate what he is worth.

I'm not sure I follow. The WBA isn't offering any money, they are just enforcing mandatories to unify their "champs". 75/25 is standard, and nothing Jacobs has done makes anyone thinks he deserves more than the norm. If he doesn't like it, vacate.

Whatever Jacobs thinks he is worth, his promoter should bid 4x that amount.

 

jacobs beat quillen. thats a better win than anything gstring has done. thats a slap in the face ray leonard offered that to aaron pryor because he didnt want the fight. I think the same thing is going on now. gstring does not want this fight.
65/35 would be respectful, it dont have to be fair of course but put some respect on jacobs name.

 

GGG is the real champ. 10% could be nearly a million dollars in this fight. Why give him a million dollars, because he beat a guy who ran from GGG?

The 75/25 split is something Jacobs will have to accept or vacate his trinket. GGG can then go fight someone like Eubanks for the same money, or wait on Saunders and maybe make more. Jacobs offers GGG close to nothing.

Daddy brought home a cake for you and sibling. He says split it up amongst yourselves. You're the big bro so you get standard 75%. But he wants more because he is a good boy. My standard fair rule for everyone is the big boy to be 75% and the small kid to be 25%. Small kid cries and says Daddy please reconsider. the only thing jacobs has done in his career is get cold cocked by the only decent fighter he has faced. golovkin has three belts, is undefeated, and is vastly the bigger draw.

On one hand you becall GGG sayng he should step up move up & fight Ward @ 168 but Ward cannot make 168 he'd come in around 180. That he should give Jacobs a bigger percentage than the WBA rules state to " make the fight"
But when it comes to GGG;s opponents its unfair of him to insist on defending the 160 titles @ 160 & not "caneloweight " 155 ROFL Gennady wants to fight & win by the rules as it should be. If your heroes don't have the stones to do that get out of boxing & try Ice dancing

The ONLY reason GGG isn't fighting any of the so called 160 elite is because he cannot find anyone with stones enough to get in the ring with him. WBA rules say 75 - 25, Golovkin is the champion, Jacobs is the WBA mandatory, not a real champion...............

 

even a large percentage of ggg supporters here believe 60-40 is fair..most of them say "but i dont blame ggg because if he gives in to jacobs then everyone else will try the same thing".....

they act as if its easy for golovkin to secure good fights....he ought to try something....like giving jacobs a fair 40 percent

 

its so weird though...even kovalev, who has a similar rep to golovkins, is able to get fights....he got 50 year old hop in there.....he beat pascals head in and pascal signed up to DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!! and he got the ward fight made nice and easily
