DSG is 28yo, with one of the best resumes in the business, if he beats Thurman he has to enter my personal P4P top 3 (even though p4p is fantasy bs). Still many call him a cowardly cherry picker.

Crazily enough there are guys many years DSG's senior and who although talented have yet to beat any class opponent in there entire careers and they are worshiped like a god around here.

Will people ever stop calling Danny Cherry?

Khan is fun to watch, always at the edge of your seat when he's in action.
Danny has that left hook and I love his combination punching, he's the total package really just more suited to 140 IMO

I don't see him beating Thurman on the strength that Keith can box and move and that's Danny's weakness. Thurman can beat Danny and never have to get into a fire fight if he doesn't want to.
Unless he gets the screw job on the cards that Herrera and Peterson got.

I don't personally call him Cherry, however, give me a scenario in which Danny
can beat Thurman. An actual, intelligent breakdown stylistically of how this happens

answer to the question is NO. however i cant see him beating thurman,
but i wouldnt discredit danny's wins at 140 etc. khan and the avoided matthyse at the time are good scalps at 140

If he beats Keith then yes all the credit in the world. It's like with Canelo, very frustrating when they get off to such a good start then take a big run of **** fights and expect fans to just keep shelling out dollars

Personally, as it's been said here, I think this is a bad match for DSG. He's got cement feet and KT moves a lot, and transitions well from defense to offense. Thurman-Soto Karrass was on last night, same kind deal though JSK is a hell of a lot more rangy. Thurman worked him over

I don't think Danny could ever be called "cherry". Sure, he had ONE terrible opponent in Salka. Herrera was just under rated and played spoiler. Danny has fought the names in his division and is about to do it again. He's just had a rough couple of years.

If lightning strikes, I would definitely give him credit. But I won't stop calling him Cherry, because that's his name.
Then again, I can't see him beat Thurman without some serious outside help. After the Matty war he has never been the same and kept riding on gifts and cherrypicks...

The only fighter worshiped like a god around here is Mayweather. Everyone else gets way more hate than praise. Danny deserves the hate he gets though.

Khan the "full package" ffs, it's not even funny.

I have to ask, do you drink a lot of alcohol during the day? Actually your evening/night posts are similar, so is it 24 hour drinking sessions?
