I cant think of many name fighters who just cant seem to get good fights.....there is as much financial reward and "gain" by fighting golovkin and potentially beating him as there is with kovalev......probably more actually........you saw pascal get stomped and sign up for it again.....and im sure the golovkin fans will chime in "well those guys at 175 don't have any options"....as if the mw guys have tons of them

you think its just coincidence that golovkin can get a real, good, fight? theres a guy with a similar reputation two divisions north that doesn't seem to have a big problem...

where were golovkins "considerable balls" when ward contacted him? busy making plans to fight dom wade and kell brook?!?!?

 

I've explained the Ward thing to you a million times over. I'm bored of you ignoring the facts surrounding that situation and why it would have been remarkable for that fight to come to fruition. Now, if you look at the fights taken by Pascal, Cleverly and B-Hop and the ones taken by the current MW disillusion you'll see it's a case of chalk and cheese. The middleweight guys are risk averse. Not just with Golovkin either but with each other too.

chavez would have taken the fight too(this is similar to the Floyd/margarita situation...take a look into it and youll see what really happened)....chavez was down to fight....but he was nearing the end of his top rank contract.....and bob was trying to force him into resigning by dangling two different numbers for the ggg fight...one where he resigned with TR(more money)...and one where he didn't resign with TR(less money).....when you dangle the "more money" figure it tells chavez that the money is there for that fight.....it also tells you bob is trying to strong arm you into resigning on his terms

in floyds case he agreed to fight margarita....arum even confirmed this years ago and you can still find the quote in an old arhived dan Rafael piece(I can find it if you wish).....but Floyd wanted future guarantees for hatton and cotto fights....Floyd wanted something like 12 mil guaranteed apiece for those fights...and bob would only do something like 8-10....so Floyd bought out and walked.......in the end bob was proven to be pretty dumb

 

They are. It's why people think you're a troll. You've never seriously tried to respond to any post in which I've outlined why that fight was always unlikely and differences between that and other potential match ups. Thus I don't think you can complain that I don't repeat these facts - and that's what they are, for Froch bringing more money and considerably less skill to the party is a fact - for you over and over again. With you being so firmly entrenched in your position and giving no consideration to any other point of view or relevant information that'd be insane.

If Jacobs belt is worth a measly 25% , than thats all Golovkins mickey mouse title defences were worth too prior to obtaining the full WBA title from Geale 5 fights ago.

GGGstans want to claim he has 17 defences while at the same time claim Jacobs isn't a real world champion.

you can say "blah blah" all you want...fact of the matter is...arum tried strong arming him into resigning with top rank....arum knew chavez wanted to leave(hes hardly the first) and arum was basically trying to resign him or screw him....that's just reality

 

If anyone counts Golovkin's 'regular' title defences as legitimate defences then they need their head tested.
