    I think Kovalev will feel that at times too. I can see Ward staying in the pocket, landing 1-2 and then grabbing, frustrating Krusher and not giving him the distance to throw his power shots.

    Kovalev has much quicker feet and hands than Froch. Kovalev is all wrong for Ward, this isn't going to be competitive at all.

    It could happen, Ward has some of the best footwork in the business, the way he moves in and out of range is amazing to watch.

    But then again, Hopkins had pretty good footwork as well and Kovalev was surprisingly able to dictate the range the fight was fought at. We haven't seen that Kovalev since, as he's not faced anyone that's forced him to do more than his usual seek and destroy routine, maybe we'll see that Kovalev again against Ward.

    i feel like yer gonna see ward on the inside more ...although ill prob be wrong...i think ward has a serious mean streak inside him and hes going to get inside and beat kovalev up a little bit....it might suprise some...but kovalev has never really dealt with a guy who can do that to him
