Wladimir doesn't have the torch to pass.
He lost WIDELY to Tyson Fury a year ago.

    Yeah.
He'll either kill himself, drink or snort himself to death.
    OR
He'll get back in the gym and come back hungry, to school AJ in the biggest British fight ever.

The thing is we still don't know if wlad was shot and had an off night against fury, He clearly didn't perform, credit to fury but he didn't fight a wlad that was putting up a good fight, Now was that due to fury being great and nullifying him, or was wlad shot and or having a bad night? i wanted to see the rematch to see if wlad had used the loss as kick up the arse and re light the fire within him and for fury to have a chance to prove it again, It seems like that may have been the case and the wlad that is now going against AJ is not the same one that fought fury.

You're deluded. Fury no longer exists now anyway. He is an irrelevance to boxing, especially once his bans come in.

I think Wlad was definitely clearly over-the-hill, maybe not quite "shot", when he faced Fury.
The best evidence is the fact he looked pretty poor in the Bryant Jennings fight too. He looked old already.
BUT ... there's no doubt Fury's style and strategy nullified Wlad. And I certainly wouldn't write off Wlad's chances here against AJ.
I'm not sure AJ is as good as people think he is, and certainly I'd be surprised if AJ an outbox even the Wlad that faced Fury.
AJ's best hope is to KO Wlad early, and hope Wlad no longer has his jab working.
Wlad's best hope is that AJ's got a lot to learn about boxing basics and doesn't have a great chin either. If Wlad has something left he can win this fight early, late or over the distance.

It's an intriguing fight but one where we'll probably still be asking questions afterwards.

I hear what you're saying and technically you are right in that Wlad doesn't have the belts. However there was no real satisfaction on how Fury won the belts. It was a farce and he as well as most knowledgeable people knew it. It was not a compelling win and there is no doubt that Wlad would have knocked him out in the rematch. Joshua on the other hand will leave no doubt and no need for a rematch. Wlad will retire after this fight.

Doesn't count as he was enjoying the benefits of steroids at the time.

Wlad by KO Rd7 he has too much for Joshua at this stage in AJs career, too early for him.

Even a slightly passed it Wlad has enough to beat AJ, not hating on the guy just feel it is too soon for him.

There certainly was A LOT of doubt whether Wlad could knock him out in a rematch.
And there was no "need" for a rematch other than an ill-advised contractual agreement to give Wlad one.

The fight was a farce mainly because Fury was required to do so little to win so clearly.

It was far less of a farce than Mayweather-Pacquiao.

Yup AJ is coming off wins vs. Whyte, Martin and Brezeale. No doubt Wlad has no chance.

All the things Fury did to beat Wlad, AJ can't do half as well. Yes, he has other attributes which give him a chance, but the Tyson blue print was based on movement and taking advantage of being the bigger man. AJ's movement is no way as good and he's not bigger than Wlad. He may still win, but you can't take too much from his last fight when judging what kind of Wlad will rock up for this one. The Jennings win - in which Wlad looked below par - when added to the Fury loss may hint at a decline which AJ can benefit from, but predicting an easy win is bold...
