Is there a UK boxer fighting right now that can become an ATG?

It's the dumbest thing he ever did. Show his toe. He could have mentioned having an injured foot meant he couldn't spring off and unleash his speed and power but actually unveiling his toe was a ***** move.

Says it all when you had z-list celebs on trash tv shows making fun of him for doing that.

After that people jump on the bandwagon and find any way to discredit him. Sure he can be criticised for his Dave shitshow but his talent and achievements need to be respected.

AJ isn't even as good as Frank Bruno ability wise. Frank was more mobile and had a much better jab.

In his 17th fight, Bruno was fighting some bum with an 11-5 record, and was still a few fights away from getting stopped by bum smith.

In his 17th fight, Lewis was fighting cruiser McCrory and about 10 fights from getting knocked into another dimension by journeyman McCall

In his 17th fight tyson fury was getting smashed to the canvas and on ***** street from midget bum pajkic

In his 17th fight klitschko was fighting the 20-21-1 bum Everett Martin and was a few fights from getting destroyed, humiliated and brutally ktfo by old midget bum purity.

Point being stu acting like Joshua is the finished article, he AIN'T. He's still in the developmental phase of his career. We don't know what he will or won't be yet.

Tony Bellew after he beats Haye and then unifies the heavyweight titles.

Fair points. I never said AJ was the finished article. I hope he becomes the wrecking machine people think he will. I have my doubts though. I suppose if Wilder can AJ can. It's an extremely weak era of heavyweights.

David Haye can't become undisputed heavyweight champion, that's a delusion or else a joke.
He's virtually finished. Even in his prime he did little at heavyweight. His best win is over Chisora. And now he's finished, almost certainly. I wouldn't make him a favourite against any of the young crop and he's probably more cautious about his matchmaking than anyone else is. The only risky fights he will take will be for big BIG paydays, and he'll probably lose. He's 36 years old and he's had injuries, inactivity, and he's never quite been big or durable enough to dominate the kind of heavyweights we see now.
He could certainly prove me wrong on one fight, but to do it 2, 3 or 4 big wins to establish himself as undisputed unified champion seems impossible.

Guys like Frampton and Brook could possibly become ATG fighters.
Or anyone who realistically has a few years left to get some big wins or get a lot better. In theory.
Anthony Joshua has a good chance if you're optimistic, but he really needs to step up to show us the quality, he's still just a prospect. Tyson Fury has an outside chance to be an ATG, and only because he has a solid win under his belt already and he's still only 28 (young-ish for a heavyweight), but he might have blown it all now obviously.
If James DeGale finds a big win or two he's in the running too. If, say, he landed a big fight with a Ward or Golovkin or Kovalev type opponent and pulled off the upset he's in the running.

The odds are against all of them, it's a big deal to be a world class contender or a world champion and being a true ATG takes something extra on top of all that.

I'm Joshua KO's Wlad and then beats Wilder, Parker, Haye and Fury if he ever comes back then he has a chance of being an ATG.

Good post. It's hard enough building a resume good enough for the hall never mind becoming an ATG. Multiple weight champions were guarenteed ATG's back in an era of 1 belt and less weight classes. Nowadays we have 3 weight world champions on the level of Adrian Broner and worse. Multi weight champions were once only achieved by exceptional fighters like Henry Armstrong.

That isn't really a great resume imo. A good resume but certainly not ATG level. I doubt AJ will ever have a great win, but he could become a great by dominating a **** era for years like Wlad did.

Glad to see you recognise the fact that black African American boxers are men of extraordinary talents. Refreshing, considering some of the tacit racism people hide between the lines of the their postings on here...

My point was he was more mobile and less stiff than AJ is now, and that's as clear as day.

I'll refresh your memory of the one and only Frank Bruno.

Hey, I liked Frank... the first boxer I really followed as a kid. You right about the jab too. And yeah, I'm gonna watch the link...
