Adonis SHOULD fight the winner, but honestly the chances are very slim. We'll see. I think he'll be matched with Beterbiev after the mandatory against Eleider Alvarez in the spring.

I hope he does. Stevenson ain't old in boxing mileage as has dynamic one punch KO power. I think he'd lose to Ward and beat Kovalev. But the Kovalev/Stevenson fight would be FOTY stuff for as long as it lasted.

I'm one of #BeterBeasts biggest fans but that is a bad match for him right now. Stevenson is still too quick for him, until his D improves.

    If Kovalev wins, no.

    If Ward wins, yes.

So, no, he won't fiight the winner.

Hopefully he does face the winner as their next fight.

Kovelev beats Stevenson and Stevenson knows it.

not a chance, haymon will feed Stevenson easy wins until he's 40 then let a big name finish him so they can claim "he's no longer in his prime so anything could happen" bullsh!t

If you watch some of Beterbiev's amateur fights, it's clear that he does know how to defend. I think he just has had no respect for the limited opposition he's been facing.

Stevenson does have the best straight left in the business but I'd still pick Artur to stay clear of it and eventually brutalise Stevenson.

Hell no, there's no way Stevenson would fight the winner, let alone a top 20 opponent.

Perhaps, although I for one hardly dare to hope he'll take good opponents like that after Karpency, Williams Jr., etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if Alvarez beats him; time has to catch up with Stevenson sooner or later and Alvarez is a legitimate top 10 LHW.

I think Beterbiev hasn't been in there with anyone who can sustain his offense and pressure, so he doesn't move his head or feint off the front foot like he probably can. I've also never had to see him move backwards.

All that being said, I think right now, Stevenson would catch him early with a nice counter left and KO him within the first 5 rounds, same with Kovalev. If it goes longer, he'd probably lose to both of them.

For whatever reason you guy's don't respect Stevenson's speed and power. Anyone outside of the top 3 LHW's is not beating Stevenson.

The odds of Stevenson facing the winner of Kovalev-Ward are 100x higher than Golovkin facing a real opponent in 2017.

Stevenson is an awesome champion with awesome boxing ability and the most destructive punching in the division.
If Kovalev-Ward lives up to or exceeds expectations, then a Stevenson-Winner follow up the prefect progression.

If the winner is Kovalev, the the outcome of Stevenson-Kovalev is; Stevenson by TKO
If Ward is the winner, the outcome of Stevenson-Ward is; Stevenson by TKO.
