    Margarito/Cotto is one of my favorite fights to watch. I've rewatched that fight like 5 times. Such a brutal fight.

    Miguel cotto=HOF career and made many millions...his wealth sits in a very comfortable 8 figures...won the rematch easily...like the way he was winning the first 6 of the first fight...future secure for his grand children

    margarita= has no skills...is broke still trying to collect any check he can so he can try to keep his woman this time...his grandchildren will be landscaping the cotto estates

    i remember that fight live and it was crazy to watch. even watching it on replay and with the benefit of hindsight about everything that happened to margarito after it's still a joy to watch. but the night of was nuts.

    i feel the same way about pavlik taylor I. live it was crazy to watch especially because i was such a huge fan of both guys, pavlik in particular. hindsight being what it is both guys are dumpster fires and never did too much after but the night of was nuts.

    Cotto doesn't need a new landscaper. He can't find anybody who will cut his grass for cheaper than you do it.

    As far as the fight goes, I can say that's not the best fight of the last 20 years.. you have fights like PACQUAIO-JMM I, Morales-Barrera I, Trinidad-Vargas, DE la hoya-Mosley I, Corrales vs Castillo I, Tapia-Ayala I, Pavlik-Taylor I... These fights were all better than Cotto-Margarito I imo.

    that is one of the weakest, lamest, attempts at a comeback ive ever seen....and it wasn't even a direct insult to you....I insulted margacheato....

    I do just fine....have a good job...I pay someone to cut my lawn...

    Pacquiao-Marquez IV is the best fight of the last ten years. 2 ATGs in a spectacularly violent showdown with both men gunning for the KO.

    Margo is the most overrated fighter of this era. A weight draining slow limited POS cheat who lost to Rodney Jones FFs. When he was exposed for loading his gloves never had a win of note again. JMM destroys any version of him.

    All controversy aside (we'll never know whether Tony cheated and it was never suspected or proven at the time, so we have to assume he didn't), yes it was a magnificent contest which had everything.

    Cotto's slick and crisp combinations in the early going, his total elusiveness in the first few rounds, but then the grit of Margarito started to pull him ahead and the mid-round exchanges were phenomenol. By the end Margarito had waded through fire and come out the other side and Cotto's heart was taken.

    Huge respect for both fighters and yes, what a war!
