Thinks he's the biggest star in boxing without the PPV numbers to back that up. I mean you can't make that type of **** up.
I'm not sure if you were aiming that at me or the racist guys. If it was at me then that couldn't be further from the truth I've always been very fair when it comes to GGG, I don't think his comp has been that bad guys like Monroe, Lemieux and Stevens are solid names but he needs to get a few big names now it's time to really fulfil his potential and cement his legacy. Wins over Canelo, Saunders and Jacobs would go along way to doing that.
Pretty sure that wasn't aimed at you, or at least it shouldn't be. You are one of the few who attempt to be fair and unbiased.
In hindsight you have to wonder if calling the $10MM bluff would have been the best strategy. I mean, how much more are you going to get in a percentage scenario, this ain't Floyd Pac or Floyd Canelo where you're gonna hit 2MM buys 1MM buys at $80, split that in half then 10 mil works out to roughly 25%. Admittedly I don't know the financial structure of a promotion as well as some on here might, so I'm oversimplifying I guess, but point is when you get right down to it how much different would the numbers be, Bird in the hand worth two in the bush,
Your completely right in my view, call their bluff see if their really serious. You never know what could happen GGG or Canelo could lose by then and then that fight might not be worth as much.
I agree whats he going to do in the meantime to increase his position? fight heiland?? I mean.....that's prob about the best its gonna get...that 10 mil... im curious though...I wonder when his fans and the people at hbo are going to start to question ggg and his people and take a look in their direction for their problems....and not always point the finger at someone else
It is ridiculous that his mandatory of nearly 2 freaking years says he still isn't ready for the fight. That is a joke. The same guy who in that 2 years NEVER tried to enforce the mandatory. But this is GGG's fault? LOL.
I do think Jacobs is not favouring his chances against GGG, but like I said get him in the ring, offer him a 65-35 split or a 60-40 split from the ways hes talking he take that. If he doesn't then just move on but to be honest I do not see any big money fight for GGG except Canelo, Saunders can't even get in the ring for bums, Jacobs is obviously scared so not sure what him and his team do now.
GGGoon logic right here.. Such as who? Brook? Who wasn't KO, just completely overpowered at 160. Or maybe you're referring to the vetern Dominic Wade, who doesn't even have 20 fights under his belt ffs LOL.. How about David Lemieux? Nope, he was KTFO worse by Marco Antonio Rubio who was KO COLD by Kofi Jantuah, a JR.MW... Not sure what the point of your comment is... Help me out here son.
Maybe by the time Canelo grows a pair the interest will have waned enough to make this statement true. Could have easily been a mil though if they had taken advantage of the window when everybody was paying attention, i.e when they were both in the ring post-Khan, and they both had belts Knocking out Liam Smith does not tickle my buy bone
