    Pulev? The same Pulev who you told us Wlad was ducking and would NEVER fight? (this sounds familiar) then Wlad proceeded to smash his Glass Jaw to bits and KO him? That Pulev? LOL. Get a life you rotten toothed Brit.

    Disappointment to who?
    To all the suckers who believed the media hype that this was already a done deal. A few weeks ago no one even thought this fight was a possibility this year.

    Wlad NEVER said he was willing to challenge Joshua for the IBF title alone. A few weeks ago, he was gearing up to challenge for the WBO and WBA titles, not the IBF title.
    Browne is the easier option, it appears. And the reward is there, the belt. If AJ is as good as people think he is, he'll be around next year anyway.

    The title wasn't thrust upon Joshua.
    Joshua chose to challenge Martin, just as Wlad is allegedly choosing to fight Browne. Same thing, right?

    What exactly do you mean "when it was a lot easier to do so" ... ?

    And AJ will blow him away without needing to use a single clinch. Wlad made John Ruiz look like Larry Holmes in that fight.
    No wonder the guy wants no part whatsoever of Joshua. He chits , you shovel it up.

    I agree, belts mean nothing. They are equally meaningless.
    IBF = WBA
    0 = 0

    And, so, who the f--k is Joshua ?
    Just some guy who has a belt. That's ALL he is. There's nothing meaningful beyond that. Oh, he looks like a promising prospect. Big deal.

    If Wlad was to beat this guy you'd say he beat some 17-0 novice with a paper title and a plastic belt. A nobody and a hype job.

    I don't remember much clinching in that fight might have been since Pulev was on the canvas so much. Nothing Wlad does will ever satisfy you so it really doesn't matter. Browne is a **** fight but so is Joshua fighting Molina or any other bum they come up with. Lets just keep it real here. Another boxing writer says Wlad wants to fight the WBO winner in the Spring so maybe Wlad and Joshua can have a unification fight in the Summer in a stadium which is what Hearn wanted all along anyway.

    You'd hope so although time is a factor and K2 appear to have wasted plenty of it for them. Who else could they get in now? Parker seems to have decided upon the WBO route which is a shame and Wilder is out of action/tied up with Povetkin.

    Pulev and Stiverne have turned down the chance to fight Joshua and nobody knows if Fury will fight again.

    This leaves Ortiz and Haye as the only choices I'd like to see and we don't know how viable they are at the minute with what they have planned.I slated the Breazeale fight at the time and have no desire to see such another mismatch. Let's not pretend that it was anyone other than Wlad who has ****ed this one up. He had an opportunity to do something great for himself and the division and bottled it over a belt.

    What's so strange about an over-the-hill 40-year-old former champion, inactive for 12 months, whose collection of unified belts has been splintered into 3 since he lost last year, opting to challenge for one of those belts against the apparently easiest opponent in his home country ?

    It makes perfect sense.

    Joshua is a big deal. A massive deal in fact. He has global star power and is one of the biggest names in the sport. No telling what he could go on to achieve. He is the #1 man to beat in the division.
    The fight is there for Wald along with all the respect and legacy enhancing boost a victory would earn him.

    Browne does nothing for him and will only serve to remind people of the time he ducked Joshua.

    Sometimes I think you don't like competitive match ups. How you can be happy with Browne with a fight with Joshua was a very possibility is beyond me.

    And the title was thrust upon him. Martin called him out as he wanted the best price for his strap possible. He took advantage of an open goal situation. This is different, beating Browne for one belt does nothing for Wlad whereas beating Joshua is a legacy enhancing fight IMO. Two Olympic gold medalists, hugely hyped as the next big thing, it had the recipe to be great.

    And over the course of Wlad's reign the skill needed to be a top ten fighter was arguably at an all time low. Look at the state of some of his opponents. This it was easy for him to be willing to take on all comers and especially so when in tandem with his brother.

    Joshua's resume consists of Dillian Whyte, Charles Martin and Dominic Breazeale .... .... how the f--k does that make him the #1 man to beat in the division?

    Seriously, the idea that you'd give Wlad ANY credit for beating a guy with such a ridiculously flimsy resume is a joke.

    You want to discuss time? Fury yanked Wlad around for a year once with a fake injury then said he was "mentally unfit" (whatever the hell that is) so if anyone has suffered it is Wlad who is 40. Joshua is much younger and can still fight Molina or some other handpicked bum which he was going to do anyway. It is like Wilder and Joshua are in a competition to see who can fight the worse opposition.

    Poor Dino already suggested Joshua fight Pulev you know the guy he told us on here repeatedly that Wlad would never fight. Joshua's resume is a farce.

    You're acting like I've defended Fury's actions. I haven't, I condemned him as the unprofessional fool that he is.

    You can't really compare Joshua to Wilder, he's achieved a similar amount in half the time and 20 less fights and tried to step up and take on Wlad for his next fight.

    And it's not Joshua who loses out the most, it's us as fans who get left with two **** fights instead of a potentially great one.

    Mentally ill Dinovelvet getting taken to school lmao. He can only see negatives with Wlad, no matter what he says/does he'll find something to criticize. The overwhelming majority of this forum sees this guy for the biased butthurt clown that he is.
