history doesnt care when hopkins moved up or even why....it just knows that he did......golovkin will never do what hopkins did.....but keep thinking that because golovkin is winning fights at mw it somehow puts him in the same convo as hopkins as far as ATG status, career or resume....i have some sobering news for you...it doesnt and it never will.....golovkin will never take a dangerous fight at 175 because hes a pansy...he wouldnt even take a fight at 168 against feather fisted ward.....hell continue to feast on bums and you will lap him up because of your skin color and country of residence.....SAD

 

This is why it is so frustrating the fight has not gone to a purse bid yet. I get Loeffler does not want to risk another network picking up the fight but if this fight cannot be negotiated in 120 days get that purse bid and Jacobs can have his 25% or vacate and take 25% of nothing.

 

How do you know Golovkin will never move up. If he moves up like Hopkins did, he still has 18 fights left at Middleweight, or 7 years to move up at the same age, or 8 years after the debut.

Pavlik wasn't at Super Middleweight either. Hopkins dragged him up 2 weight classes, he also pulled this stunt with Winky Wright. But lets not give Hopkins the hate, we gave GGG for fighting Brook, because skin colours matter don't they **** Master?

Personally, I think the fight will do huge numbers. More than Canelo-Cotto.

It's okay noting what Canelo took for Cotto, but Cotto was the champ. Canelo was only young. He had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Here, it's GG who's the champ. Apart from financial gain, he has everything to lose and nothing to gain. So whilst I respect that Canelo made concessions to fight Cotto, GG isn't going to make those same concessions. And again, I don't think he should. Yes, Canelo's a huge name who does better numbers. But GBP has messed GG around before handing the belt over, and they also need GG as some of his fans are becoming restless. I don't think being the bigger drawer warrants 75% of the purse, not when GG is an established MW champ, and again, it'll be his belts they'll be fighting for. Also, it's not like Canelo is doing huge numbers when he's not in with another huge name. So you can't say he deserves a huge split just because he let Cotto have it. Again, the circumstances are are completely different.

i mentioned pavlik being a mw in my last post you idiot...i said he fought the best from 160-175 even after his mw reign was over...lol......and he at least gave pavlik a catchweight when having him come up.....

golovkin wouldnt even fight feather fisted ward at 168....hes not going anywhere.....the minute he suffers a defeat his aura and mystique...along with interest in him ...is long gone

let us know when golovkin fights an A level fighter in a class above the one he spent the majority of his career in......i wont wait....because your wife will sprout wings and fly before that happens....were still waiting on golovkin to make a good fight period
