Fight is a disgrace. Is not everybody fed up with Wlad fighting bums?
Well, I guess in Germany they are not.

Molina is better than Browne. Why is Wlad choosing Browne over AJ:thinking:

That's not a contradiction at all. It's is two opinions coexisting.

When Hatton and Pacquiao were negotiating terms I fully expected Hatton to demolish Pac. Doesn't mean he'd have been free from criticism if he ducked him.

Most everyone expected Jones to dominated DM, but most everyone criticises him for not making the fight.

There are countless examples throughout boxing history were one man is tipped by people to make a real statement, that's not a reason to avoid the fight.

In fact that is the actual definition of a duck.

I expect Joshua to demolish Wlad.

I expect Wlad to give him the chance to do so.

How is that a contradiction, it's the way the sport works.

Would you have defended Berbick if he'd have swerved Tyson for easier opponents? Or Patterson if he'd have swerved Liston?

    But there's an obvious difference.
Wladmir is a 40-year-old without a title, coming off a loss and 12-month lay-off, and two aborted training camps.

You're talking as if he's the champion, avoiding a young challenger.
When in fact he's an old man on the comeback trail.

He isn't on the comeback trail. If he was it wouldn't be a problem. He wants to be a champion and is using comeback trail opponents to become one. Its a chump move .. much like is phoney Sven Ottke inspired Championship run.

I have heard it all now. Molina is absolutely awful. Browne is no world beater but he at least looks somewhat active and like he might be an athlete or capable of physical activity. Molina doesn't have a muscle in his body and is suffering from male pattern baldness he looks like a guy you would see at a pool hall or a bowling alley drinking beer and smoking cigarettes.

Joshua is one of if not the most coddled fighter in the World today.

Browne couldn't beat Rudenko , that result was a robbery . Hughie Fury won every round against Rudenko when he was a little boy.
Molina , Hughie , Whyte , Chisora are better than Browne

But Wladimir has actually tried to fight Tyson Fury TWICE this year.
    That was his first preference.
Since Fury relinquished the titles and wants to stay at home and not fight, Wladimir is left with several options, all involving splintered titles and the paper champions.

Tyson Fury is still the champion really, let's face it.
The rest of this is squabbling over paper titles and pathetic belts.

Ali lost to Joe Frazier who lost to Foreman who beat Norton who beat Ali then Ali beat Foreman. See how stupid your little anecdote is?

Wlad should have made that rematch immediately. He made Fury wait around for ages hoping he get fat and lose motivation.

He got exactly what he wanted.

If he goes on to fight Joshua, all is forgiven.

But right now he's turning a fight for an easier opponent.

Fury has given up his claim to the championship.

Hopefully he gets an immediate shot at whoever fills his place though.

    Who cares?

He's said he isn't able to defend his championship until he gets over his help issues.

He's made it clear he isn't the champion but that he wants to fight the champ upon his return.
