Just heard this, won't be allowed to weigh in at 10st7 for his fight this Saturday. Lack of professionalism really.

Poor if true. It seems it doesn't matter how many chances he's given, Gavin seems determined to **** his career away. Mitchell didn't realise until it was too late either and it appears that Frankie has followed him down the path of unfulfilled promise.

If he weighs in under 10st 9lbs the fight is off. Board have set this limit. His tweeted about it. It's a disgrace. Sam was offered chance to up the limit of the fight but declined cause he wants the title.

I don't think Sam can or should be criticised if this is true and I say this as someone who although largely indifferent would probably prefer Gavin to win the fight

Reading his Twitter, he was stopped from trying to lose 6lbs in 30 hours?

I don't think that's too bad tbh, that's doable if the athlete hasn't started dehydrating yet.

He'd have got to the weight but your told the limits so make them for the check and then can do what you want after that

I think the problem is he failed the 2 check weigh ins in the build up. And with recent events the board r tightening up on things like that.

In fairness Gavin he is handicapped somewhat by having one of the worlds biggest foreheads.

    Gavin just isnt dedicated
He's never got past british level despite looking like he had the skill set to go further
Struggling to make what 147? he should have been 140 most of his career
