Another early stoppage loss for Williams I guess.

I can't think of many other fighters this far removed from their prime.

    Is Danny Williams still fighting?

I think he enjoys getting beaten up at this point.

Sad state of affairs... A prime Williams would have been an interesting fighter to watch today, but those days have long since passed. Should have honestly retired at least 7-8 years ago. Last time he was even remotely competent was almost 9 years ago when he stopped Airich.

Someone should put him in with Toney. That's probably the fight both of them take the least damage.

Call me crazy... But I think Long would upset Charr if they were to fight. I'm salivating at the though of 10/1 or higher odds Charr would probably get in that one.

    Rd 1 Long
    Rd 2 Long
    Rd 3 Long
    Rd 4 Even
    Rd 5 Tupou
    Rd 6 Long
Rd 7 Tupou 10-8 point deduction
    Rd 8 Long
Rd 9 Tupou 10-8 point deduction
    Rd 10 even

Ref clearly wasn't on Longs side. I'm ok with the result, even though Tupou should have gotten the nod with those bogus deductions.

Krzysztof Zimnoch v.s Marcin Rekowski today... Good domestic - European level fight. Winner keeps their career alive and stays relevant at the European stage. My guess is Zimnoch UD. Some prospects fighting on the undercard - both against journeymen with losing records.

Krzysztof Kosela 8-0 v.s Igor Pylypenko 5-29(has an upset win over Goncharov who seems to be heading down a journeyman path himself)

Sergiej Werwejko 3-0 taking on a better opponent in Andras Csomor 17-12 who most of you are probably well aware of for his being used as a punching bag for named opponents and prospects.

In Australia there's a less noteworthy fight involving Justin Whitehead who was upset by Julius Long in his last outing. Taking on a 10-5 Samoan kid by name of Herman Ene Purcell who's only 21 and has already been fighting for 3 years.

Simon Kean is fighting too against David Torres Garcia 10-2 on the Maduma/Sismundo undercard

That about sums up the heavyweight fights worth paying attention too this weekend.
