He lost everytime he stepped up, not hof sorry.

 

He beat Martinez a guy he was the underdog against. Cotto isn't a true MW it was a great accomplishment.

I can't blame the two of them for making the fight. Big money because it appeals to both their fan bases. I expect the exact same outcome. Not really interested in this fight. GGG should worry about other things besides Canelo.

 

Just re watched the Saunders v Eubank fight,I'm telling you now that Canelo will not go anywhere near Saunders,no wonder he's talking Cotto lol,I think Oscar is making Canelo look worse by the day.

 

Exactly! GGG fans always bashing everyone's resume but his resume is one of the worst in the sport today. I made a list of 30 current fighters with a better resume than him and I stopped at 140, had I gone all the way to Strawweight I could have probably named 50.

No the fact that he took risks and fought real comp win or loss. He jumped from 135-147 and took on Paulie then Maidana then later Porter when GGG does something like that then we can talk.

 

The hate for the humble warrior GGG is palpable around here.
It's funny watching all these middleweights (Canelo, Saunders, Eubank and now Jacobs) run for the hills when GGG's name comes up. Don't even bother telling me Canelo is not ready for middleweight. To quote Dan Rafael, "Did the great Felix Trinidad need multiple fights to put on five stinkin' pounds? No. "Tito" went from unifying junior middleweight titles in his epic knockout win of Fernando Vargas right into a tournament at middleweight and won a title in his first fight in the division by stopping William Joppy in devastating fashion." I do, however, think Canelo wants the GGG fight and it's mostly golden Boy Promotions holding it up.
Maybe Jacobs will do like I think he will and accept the fight for early 2017.
Oh, and regarding the resume conversation, it's kind of hard building a HOF resume when nobody wants to fight.

 

So you want GGG to kill himself to make 154 first, and then jump up to 168 and receive a SD over Giovanni De Carolis and then fight Groves at a catchweight? Interesting. Doesn't sound like daring to be great to me at all.
