Freddie Roach Would Accept Vasyl Lomachenko vs Manny Pacquiao at 135!

We're talking about a guy who fought Sasakul, Ledwaba, Barrera, Marquez, Morales and Cotto. All prime or near prime.

If there is one thing that Pac has shown in his his career it is this; he gives zero ****s. Will fight anybody and has nuts the size of the Empire state building.

All I know is....an aging former star dropping multiple weight classes in his late 30's to fight an incredible up and comer has NEVER backfired in the history of boxing. Manny KO1.

 

Lomachenko would be extremely weary of Pac's power... and can he really outbox Pacquiao?

Lomachenko is ALL PRESSURE (albeit intelligent pressure), but Pacquiao also FEASTS on guys that pressure him...

If PAC can actually make 135 without severe difficulty, I think this could actually be an interesting fight. In fact, I could see it a close fight and wouldn't be shocked if PAC won.

I'm a big fan of both and would love to see this fight. If Manny could pull this out, it would be yet another truly great feat on his resume. Any time someone has a W over Manny Pacquiao, it means something. Doesn't matter if he was 18 or 38, his name is worth a lot. I can see why Loma would come up to 135, and also why PAC would come down.

With that said, this fight never happens.

They're desperate to get Pac a fight worth a damn. They're not far off length wise but Pac has been campaigning at welter for far too long. If what people claimed is true, about him having to eat six meals during camp just to maintain 147, why on earth is he fighting at welterweight now? He should've dropped weight during his "retirement".

We can speculate all we want, I can't see Pac making 135 and still being 100%. If he can and Loma is comfortable moving up, then **** it, we won't know till it happens.

 

Every pound counts. Pacquiao hasn't made 135 since June 2008. No way in hell is he gonna be effective at that weight almost a decade later...

147 and up is where the cash is. That's why Pacquiao is there. For the cash. If you follow the money you need to reach 147 and higher.

As for Pac making 135 he can. Currently his natural walk around weight is 141. All he has to do is cut 6 pounds.

Manny Pacquiao is 5'5.5". He's not a large man.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing this fight but Pac can't make 135 at his age. If it happened at 140 Loma would be at a huge disadvantage. Loma isn't afraid of daring to be great so I can see him taking the fight at 140 even with the deck stacked against him.
