The statement from Tyson was seen as an abdication from the TBRB.

I can understand why. I get the promoter saying he's still champ but Tyson himself said something else.

Wlad and Joshua could be on a collision course to crown a new champ.

Yep, think it's a good decision.
Joshi is only their #5. Doubt they go that deep into the rankings for that.
Wlad vs Pov II would be for the crown though.

I meant collision course as in they'll probably end up being the top 2 by next year and if they do eventually fight it could be for the new belt.

Depends how active Povetkin is if he keeps his spot I think.

    OK, get it
He's going after Wilder's best win next (for the WBC strap), and I'm not giving Stiverne much of a chance here... then probably an easy defence. Pretty sure he keeps that spot.

But if Joshua continues this hype he might overtake him.

Any reason why Provodnikov is rated at 140lbs and Molina isn't...?

I'd understand it if it were over the weight, but they fought for a trinket @ 140lbs...

It was generally accepted that the winner of the Ward-Kovalev fight would move into the number 1 p4p spot.

Given the manner in which Andre picked up the "win," will he still move up to that spot or will the board treat this "victory" in the same manner as Bradley's "victory" over Pac ?

Either ward or gonzalez is p4p number 1 now. No question.

    Definitely a question, Luf.

It's definitely questionable to put Ward at #1 on the basis of a fight that most observers believe he lost.
