Well yea Bashy fair enough but this fight was always going to be done again im just suprised Choc agreed to such a glaring weight margin . Props to him for that its like Mickey Walker going from middle to heavy ( in fact its a bigger jump because heavyweight was over
175lbs back in the days pre cruiserweight division) . All said and done lets just hope no one gets damaged aye .

I was late to the party, I was going to say protect yourself at all times in the old days, now it's protect the 0 at all times.

Speaking of 'O's i was well made up to hear Lucas Browne will be back fighting soon , he's well in the mix to earn a few quid and has a punchers chance v any heavy on the planet .

    Yep.

My mental health is going to be tested by every numbnut raving about this mismatch and Green bigging himself up if he wins.

I still think Mundine on points - I am pretty sure he and his team have got the nous and the cash to have got him right physically and I wouldn't be surprised if he came in looking fit to burst and does enough to put a frustrated Green off.

Agreed it was always going to happen. Just a matter of them getting on the same page regarding the conditions and that's what I'm talking about when I say always stack the odds in your favour.

Too late to worry about '0's in this fight.

Stacking the odds in your favour is all about getting the variables to favour you as much as possible. Things like split of the purse, venue, when the fight is held, weight limit, choice of officials, which gloves are used, who enters the ring first, who gets to use the bigger dressing room. The list goes on.

Its easy to slate Greeny for the weight but as an outsider tve question i have to ask is . Could he even get down to 175 lbs for this these days ? If not then no fight or payday for both .

From Green's perspective it wouldn't be so much a case of could he physically make 175. More a case of how well he could fight at that weight.

But it all comes back to stacking the odds in your favour. Green knows 83 kg would suit him and Mundine has signed on for it.

So regardless of what we think the fight is going ahead at 83 kg.

I know all the problems , hurdles & hoops that need to be jumped through in order to get a fight made Bashy i'm just a little taken aback that Choc seems to have capitulated to a deal that on paper looks like a resulting spanking for him . He's either going into this fight with confidence in his own ability or he's just rocking up for the cash . Only time will tell . Good luck to both blokes and i hope it is a great spectical down under for the fans .

If Mundine beats Green with all the odds stacked in Greens favour I fear for the health of the people of Perth. It will push him over the edge , he will go postal.:laser-kill: :hanged: :risas3:

A Green win will certainly push you over the edge. They will remove your belt, shoe laces and all sharp objects prior to sedating you. You may as well write the words 'February suicide watch' in you diary right now.

Make no mistake, Choc wants this fight and he badly wants to win it. Green has gotten inside his head and then out negotiated him.

Jeff Fenech just gave Danny Green the kiss of death predicting he will kill murder... lol

Fenech has the worst record in recent history predicting an outcome of a fight

Yeah, like the time he backed Garth Wood to KO Mundine and we all know what happened there.
