Oscar by either wide decision or late stoppage.
Cuevas doesn't have the defense to deal with the speed of Oscar, the jab would keep him at distance and at every opening Dela Hoya will land his left hook until the fight becomes one sided.

Don't hook with a hooker. Whoever's hook gets there first. Cuevas inside 4, or Oscar 9 rounds outside.

I think Oscar would butcher him.

Oscar would win as long as pipino didn't break his ribs he used to be known for doing that.coincidentally oscar is exactly the same age as me. So put that in pipe and smoke it.

My age too. He managed to achieve a bit more in the ring than I did, however. ;)

Oscar is smart enough not to hook with Cuevas. He'd fight with more caution as against Trinidad. If he does that and is content to outbox the Mexican, he wins on points.

    DLH by late stoppage, unfortunately.
