I'd like to think that Norris may be too fast for Tito and give him a taste of his own medicine, but I could see Tito catching him early. Pick 'em, IMO.
LOL @ pick em fight. Is Terry Norris getting a chin transplant or something? Trinidad would have caught and knocked out Norris at some point. Only way I see the fight going down.
This fight mimics Jackson vs Norris in some ways. With Morris get his licks in early and building up a lead. Only to get caught and taking a ten count. That being said, I bet Norris can knock down Tito early one time.
He wasn't iron chinned, but he wasn't NEARLY as fragile as Norris. He was stopped only one... after sustaining a horrible beating from Hopkins for 12 rounds. Norris wasn't capable of sustaining beatings - his chin was too pitiful. Norris point blank period isn't handling Trinidad's power. The only way he wins if he manages not to get hit, but that isn't gonna happen.
At 154 , I'd go with Norris. He had great speed and timing, which was always kryptonite for Tito at any weight. I just think there was factors that played into his loss to mullings, like his 4.5 million dollar check to fight Oscar at 147, but given this fight is at 154, I think Tito struggles and loses a UD type decision .
I like Tito here. He takes it a bit better and has big power in both paws. If Terry went at him i think Tito would stop him early in a slugfest where both might hit the canvas. If Terry is cautious a la Brown 2 i think Trinidad would stay with him and eventually catch him or win a close but fair UD.
No. I like Terry Norris. I used to think more of him when I was younger. But my opinion of him nowadays is that he's overrated. I simply think Trinidad was a better fighter, and that the styles favor Tito by violent KO. For what it's worth, Norris woulda kicked the crap outta Canelo though.
