Yet ANOTHER farce of a "fight" by Hearn.

Yeah it's a poor fight and deserves criticism. Hearn moved too late/didn't want to move at all for Parker.

Others worthy of criticism here include the 'injured' Wlad and the greedy Pulev - both of whom didn't want it.

I can't blame Wilder for once, he's recovering from surgery, whilst Povetkin and Stiverne are booked in against each other.

I would have preferred Jennings, but that's a tough sell at the minute considering his loss, Miller would have been able to talk it up but is likely rubbish and Hughie didn't want it.

Price was mooted though so perhaps we should be thankful that that big stuff idiot didn't get the call. Listening to weeks of him doing his best Audley Harrison impression whilst knowing full well he's getting flattened would have been awful.

It'll be the same story until 2018, though.

Hearn will NOT let this gravy train come off the tracks by facing killers.

World champion in a division with so many decently good fighters and we get this.

I f*cking despise Hearn. All the talk of Wlad (even made BN front cover!) and now this.

IT's the best opponent AJ has faced I reckon...

Without question. Whyte is still unproven and hasn't beaten anyone of note either.

It will be utterly comical if this is a PPV headliner though. AJ-Molina, Whyte-Chisora, Yafai-Conception, Ortiz-TBA...

Adding Conor Benn, a Smith brother and Scott Quigg certainly doesn't make it PPV worthy.

Get a grip it's not Eddie Hearn's fault that Wlad shat it. First makes noise about wanting the WBA to get an easy fight against Browne and then somehow picks up a "minor injury". Eddie Hearn can't force Klitshko into the ring.

Fair play on giving it a chance of NOT being PPV, but...

"It's gotta be PPV, Koogs, me old son. Gotta be."

Lol @ ANY AJ card NOT being PPV. After AJ/Whyte was PPV, EVERYTHING with him on is PPV - forever.

i didnt really understand why Eddie has him on PPV everytime, i would say i know its the casuals that love him but id have thought nowhere near all of them would bother paying for all his fights so putting him on regular would ensure everyone sees him, so the figures must be astronomical for him to justify AJ Vs. a school teacher on PPV

I know it's going to be PPV. I was merely stating that it wasn't worthy of PPV.

Eddie Hearn is a genius.... I certainty take my hat off to the man.

Not only does he own Anthony Joshua, he also owns the British public's purse. He will make them pay a premium price, to watch his toiler fight another out of shape washed up bum, who he will dispatch within a few rounds. They will inevitably moan and groan, yet they will still dig deep into their pockets like mind controlled somnambulists, to watch another shameless mismatch.

He has undoubtedly made his man a multi millionaire while fighting without risk, by pairing him exclusively against indistinguishable wretched bums.

I have no doubt he'd have taken the wlad fight simply for the scale in numbers it would draw in, but they never had any intention of fighting parker, haye, or even David Price. They were too dangerous for his golden goose.

It's not good but I'm just happy is wasn't David "China Chin" Price.

Maybe, let me take a step back, maybe Hearn heavily hinted at Price so people like me would think this was a step up from Price and didn't complain as much, if that is the case then I applaud a very good tactic because it worked :risas3:

Joshua's contract is rumoured to have a clause that states he always is on PPV.

Plus you need only 100-150k buys to break even and to keep Sky happy which is easily doable whoever he faces.

Oh and not a chance in hell I buy this PPV, to be honest if this is on Sky Sports 1 I'm not sure I'd even stay in or make sure I'm somewhere I could watch it.

For me, It would be a Sky+ card just in case something crazy happens and I want to watch it.
