Best Refs in Britian

Got a mate that doesn't rate him but I like Victor Laughlin.

Victor and Howard are excellent
Latham, McIntyre and Alexander are going to be top drawer as well

 

Big VIc is usually very good as is Steve Gray.

O'Connor is terrible and is IJL, but the way he moonwalks around the ring is comical so I don't mind him.

 

Is Steve Gray the tall one from Fleetwood? If so yes he's decent and Loughlin is good. IJL is too indecisive for this sport and could get someone badly hurt, O'Connor is shite and I think way too biased towards Matchroom fighters. Rememeber Crolla Linares and Cardle Dodd.

 

Victor Laughlin is very good, he always gives fighters a good chance to fight back before he stops a fight if there in trouble. Didn't he ref Eggington vs Gavin?

Agree also that Steve Gray is up there.

 

What are people's thoughts on the Basi brothers?

 

especially after the year he has had i have to say that victor laughlin is proving to be the best referee we have on these shores. it would be easy for him to jump in too quick after recent events but he showed in the eggington vs gavin fight that he is 100% professional and totally dedicated. keep the good work up victor

 

I think the best referees are the ones that don't get noticed at all when they're in the ring. The ones I forget as soon as the fight ends.

That's why I probably only remember the bad judges and referees and the high profile ones.

 

I really like Steve Gray.

 

Foster and O'Connor are both firmly on the Matchroom payroll.

 

Eddie Hearn, who is also the best judge too...

 

He's the best by a mile, I have said this a long time ago on this forum. I think he is really good. Honestly the rest of th UK refs are shockingly bad.

 

Vic Laughlin is very good as is Howard Foster, 2 guys who have been in the spotlight for very different reasons.

Terry O'Connor is corrupt, would fit in great with all they old bitter amateur refs and judges.
