Easy win for AJ, I see him KO'ing Wlad into retirement.

Awesome news, no excuses now, clearly this will be for the super title as Joshua must have the IBF belt and Browne will fight for the regular title while Wlad is out injured.

If it happens, it will be Tyson-Holmes all over again. Only Wlad would be 3 years older than Larry.

    AJ by KO.

I don't understand, didn't the WBA say they were trying to get rid of this regular/super champ rubbish? The WBA is currently vacant, so they could sanction a fight for their championship, but now they have sanctioned fights for the regular and super titles?????

Bet Wlad delays this fight until September.

Larry was fat in that fight. And retired for 18 months.

Wlad will be also retired for 17-18 months before his next fight. Wlad is shot. I'm his fan and I don't want to watch him getting battered by young prime AJ

The haters will try and say wlad was never any good. Just retire wlad you definitely have nothing to prove.

Wlad can definitely still beat Joshua. He's in a whole new league compared to the guys currently on AJ's resume... and that's not even factoring in the styles match-up.

They aren't going to fight. The bout was already called off.

Wlad and Joshua requested the WBA sanction their fight in December. The WBA waited too long to make a decision. Nowhere in the WBA announcement does it say "next spring." People writing articles are just adding that themselves.

The WBA waited too long. Then Wlad got injured. Joshua will have to make a mandatory defense after the Molina fight.

There's going to be no Wlad-Joshua fight "in the spring."

They are going to fight, even if it's not Spring, The WBA have sanctioned it for whenever they do, which is what Wlad wanted. The date of the fight is up to Eddie Hearn and K2 to come up with, but most likely it will be Spring, Hearn already re-tweeted the tweets in the OP aswell.

What about Joseph Parker? I know he's fighting Ruiz for the WBO but I thought there was an already looming timeline for AJ to fight him. Will it be postponed or could AJ be stripped?
