Then modern training evolved. He would have looked exactly like Barbados Joe Walcott otherwise.

My point is no boxer would have become an ATG without extreme dedication to training at some point in their career. Solely picking out Marciano as though he's an exception is way off mark IMO.

Note the words "before he started training."

And yet glass jawed David Haye left the ring after 12 round completely unhurt. Wlad don't even rank above a guy like Tua for raw power.
In terms of jabs, he doesn't make the top 10. Ever see Wlad drop a guy with a jab? NO.. Ever see Lewis ? Yeah.

I think Marciano is the subject of the thread? Hence him being the named fighter.

And your point is? He was a little lard arse when he walked into the gym and would have been an even bigger lard arse if he hadn't discovered boxing.

You are trying to imply that without hard work and dedication Marciano would have been a nobody, all other ATG'S wouldn't have either.....

He wasn't a lard arse at 13,14, or 15. I've photos of him from those periods , there is also footage of him in many early amateur tournaments and another poster has shown you to be incorrect in your statement, it's no big deal is it?
