Oliver McCall and Vitali Klitschko are the only two ring magazine champions never to be floored as a pro. However, who did McCall really get hit with to prove his upper limits of durability in a fight?

Bruce Seldon had McCall in real trouble. I believe round 9, catch the video sometime.

I'm not saying McCall didn't have a good chin, I'm saying it's a little overrated if you saw the films, ask who really landed a bomb on him, and factor in what Seldon did.

Did McCall do enough for the boxing hall of fame? I'd say yes.

Wins over Lewis, Maskeav, An older Holmes, Akinwande, and Seldon.

    Vitali klitchko
Foreman 90's version was a brick wall
    Mercer was more proven
Holyfield was very hard to hurt at times
Holmes only got knocked out by Tyson even if he was hurt in other fights.
I would include Marisz Wach even though hes still active
    Ali was battle tested.
    Tony Tucker could take one
Mitch Green though he looks hocked up on something half the time.
Ross Purity was built like a tank and showed a good chin.

Being Tyson sparring partner and able to go full with him ,one would need a chin.I saw McCall stop on a Tyson body shot on you tube that's the only time I saw him hurt though someone mentioned another fight up top. Recupitive abilitites and chin durability of hard to rattle is a fine line.

Like many listings in boxing its really all subjective because not all punches land the same and at different points in a career.

Round 5, but I don't think McCall was in trouble at all.

its virtually impossible to tell. But its also pretty hard to find a heavyweight who can rival never being stopped in some 75 fights or whatever it was.. I mean he was "technically" stopped by Lewis, but that wasn't a durability issue.

Pinklon Thomas's chin impressed me a lot.
Possibly Tyson's greatest stoppage was when he knocked Thomas down, and it took loads of punches.
When Thomas was shot against Holyfield, Bowe and Morrison, he still soaked up loads of punches.
