who were wildly popular....that sold out arenas ....were constantly talked about....that had many fans....yet couldnt land a decent fight to save their lives?? im just curious.....it would seem odd...it seems like all of those things combined would make someone a very appealing opponent regardless of how talented they are...... i cant think of many myself...just curious to see what you guys can come up with
it would seem to me....that having a bunch of fans+ being talked about+ network backing/push+selling out arenas would= the perfect recipe for being an "in demand" opponent......the money must follow so when you look at someone who cant get any good/decent fights...something must be missing from the equation.....or components of the equation are grossly overvalued by some people.....otherwise it would probably add up right? ......some things arent adding up here.....

nope ,jones jr wouldn't fight collins, even though collins sold out arena and was very popular ottke, jones etc and tons of others wouldn't fight the pride of wales either, even tohugh he was the man
he tried too but the poor guy got ruined by joe in manchester, lacy could have been an atg if calzaghe didn't slap him to within an inch of he's life
