I never said Moore was prime but he wasn't old and past it. He was very much in the game and it was still a good win. 32 year old Marciano was not prime and managed to knock Moore out in 9 where it took a prime young Floyd 5. Again, Moore had just won his first title a few years earlier so he wasn't past it. Don't forget that Moore was in great physical condition which is a much better indicator if a fighter is past it or not.

 

I honestly don't know and don't care it just shouldn't happen. What did he even do? From what I have read a guy took what was his and he told the dudes woman he was cheating in ode to get the tv back. I think Norton wrecks Galento and stops him.

Norton is one of the most dedicated body punchers in history and a fat mess like Galento can't take the sustained body attack for 15 rounds.

On top of that, as he ducks in and walks into those overhand haymakers he's gonna double the impact.

There is a chance Galento lands a bomb the way Shavers did. I think there's more of a chance it doesn't happen.

Maxim from 50 until 52, whenMoore finally got a title shot.

Moore could have won the Lhvy crown as early as 1945 which is ten years before he challenged Marciano!

Is there anyone who would have picked Lesnevich in1945 or Mills in1948 to successfully defend their titles against Moore of those years. That is 10 years before he challenged Marciano!

Taken from a taped interview in Moore's San Diego home,in October 1970. So insummarry the factthat Moore won the lhvy title in1952 is not an indicator he was in his prime,it is an indicator of just how good he was in his prime several years earlier!

 

He has told the story 3 times now ,each time due to negative reaction, he has embellished it ,from he wouldn't give the tv back ,to I went round there and took it.
If anyone stole from me and I knew their address I would be kicking
