Pacman isn't coming off a long layoff and tbh outside of the Marquez (looked good up until he got KO'd) and Mayweather fights, he's looked like his normal, dominant self. Losing 11 rounds to 1 to Bradley and knocking out an unproven fighter in Ali doesn't get someone ready to fight a fighter of Pacman's ilk. Late stoppage or wide UD sounds about right.
Kind of my thoughts, Manny isn't prime obviously but he isn't shot. he isn't as fast or explosive but Vargas is there to be hit Vargas has nice snappy punches that score well with the judges and he is the beneficiary of some close calls. While I agree Ali was somewhat unproven it is vargas best win to date given thr result and some times the confidence a win like that provides to a young hungry fighter can't be overlooked. That said I really expect Manny to take this thing over by round 6 on the way to a decisive and most likely points win. I do expect some furious exchanges as Vargas will be game
