Hype trains dont beat Miguel Cotto. The basis of that win alone would lead to people making judgements on how he would fair against other top class fighters. Nobody thought for a second it was tainted at the time, it looked a great win. How is that believing in a Hype train?. Revisionism at it's best. I doubt any arguments put forward for Cotto beating Margo or vice versa were plaster related. Nor any other fight Margo fans put him forward for. They judged it on what they saw, like we all do, not what we know from wrapping their hands.

Should Margo's career be career full of No Contests?

 

Probably can't get his whole career but you gotta look, he started getting a lot of TKOs out of nowhere and starting to "wear" his opponent down later in the fight.

Im being serious when I say this. It probably took Margo awhile to "come on" because he wasn't able to pack the wraps fast enough because he does not have that good of accuracy.

As the fighters start to slow Margo is able to land more / hits arms more as well. And his hands become compact from sweating and the wraps hardening and one punch after another starts to hurt his opponents.

Props to anyone who fought him through that stuff.
