    People really didn't know who Pacquiao and Floyd were?? Wtf are you guys from lol everyone knows who they are around here. Hell, a lot of people know who GGG and Canelo are rn too.

    Definitely not the type of worldwide appeal that Pac had in his day. But he has an audience and for a good reason. He fights the best,talks his **** and goes to ****ing war. I quit watching mma fights for a few years, but guys who actually let their hands go in combat sports will always find a following, and he's made me tune in again. Boxing i love,but too many promoters, managers , abc belts that have taken the sport out and made our a businesses first. And yes I'm a fan,i give zero ****s how much they make,only that the best fights get made. Even though UFC isn't the only show in town they do have 90% of the top guys And that means one org, one man,one belt, and like Ric Flair always said "to be the man, you gotta beat the man"

    Ofc but from my experience here in Jersey, people certainly knew who floyd and pac were at least. Their level of fame was comparative, if not bigger than McGregor so it's just a surprise to me that posters are saying that people don't know who they are

    Boxing is in my heart and is a sport i love dearly.

    But Boxing needs to step it up because MMA is truly taking over.

    It was great event but lets not get carried away, Mcgregor's fights draw about 1-1.6 mil in ppvs and he's the cash cow of the UFC. Still far less what boxing has and is capable of drawing.
