Anyone seen the ifltv interview with hearn last night, having a go at fans for moaning about the decision. Hearns arrogance never seems to amaze me

I am blaming him. I do blame him. I don't believe this nonsense that " a boxer will always believe he won". And Jamie didn't just say "I thought I nicked it"....he said he dominated throughout ffs!

Jamie needs to admit he lost and give Solis a rematch.

    British boxing at its best.

Jamie lost by about 6 rounds and Smith didn't win a round yet one fighter wins and the other is treated like a hero.

Plus if I hear anymore about our boys being 'master boxers' , its complete bull****. Smith looked like a complete novice last night and Jamie was basic to say the least.

Sosa did what he wanted last night in a very straight forward victory.

Lastly who ever told the Smith brothers they were world class needs to have a rethink .

Indeed indeed. How I feel about is that the judges are more or less anonymous to the fans, and to a lesser extent so is the promoter. But the boxer is CENTRAL to the sport...the reason the fans are there, the centre of attention, right?

He, the boxer himself, is the one positioned to speak out. To maintain standards in boxing. But no....Jamie played along with a fellow boxer being robbed. Basically Jamie "accepting" that win is tantamount to receiving stolen goods. Goods you know are not yours. Shame on Jamie. He is a disgrace.

As long as boxers are willing to play along with blatant robberies, the robberies will continue.
He should have spoken out and shamed the corrupt officials, promoters etc.
He was in a position to do that last night.
Imagine what a hero he would be today if he held up his hands and said Solis really won, I want to congratulate him as the real winner,he was the better man, I want to give him an immediate rematch.

Calling him a lying cheating scumbag is going over board, you probably need to get a grip actually... but I see sense in parts of what your saying, but unfortunately being the hero doesn't pay the bills.

Dennis Hobson lost a lot of money getting Mcdonnell a world title shot in his home town. Jamie repaid him by running to Eddie Hearn immediately afterwards. Why would anyone expect somebody like that to give his opponent credit?

The only thing more ******ed and ridiculous than the scorecards was listening to Mcdonnell after the fight.

I'm not on about his delusion in thinking he'd dominated the fight. I'm on about how he speaks.

Is he actually ******ed and has he been diagnosed with learning difficulties?

Not sure pal, but for a lad with supposed learning difficulties to be a world champion and earn a few quid out of a sport you discuss over an internet forum isn't doing too bad is it?

Didn't say you 'just' discuss it, but you are discussing it. So how many world titles have you won?
