It's because UFC has 90% of the best fighters in the world and they are forced to fight each other unlike in boxing where have fighters cherry picking and padding records instead of taking risks. Also because there are many ways to win or lose it causes the fights to get finished in exciting fashion a lot of the time

UFC is popular because their fights are brutal and more entertaining than boxing. Thanks largely to VOid, Rungundeaux and WARD boxing has been boring. Although i have seen boring UFC fights.

It's going to be the number 1 sport in the future for sure. The cauliflower ears fighters will be revered more than boxers in world. I don't mind it's OK.

There's no way they put him in with Woodley. Too much size difference. They wouldn't risk their star getting permanently damaged in a stupid fight like that where he doesn't have any shot at winning.

 

I don't think it is that huge of Mismatch and Woodley is one dimensional. It would be huge money for everyone involved.
