There's no doubt McGregor is the biggest draw in combat sports, even more popular than Pac in 2009.

Mcgregor has more balls than ggg that's for sure. **** the UFC though, I only watch on occasion to see some of the women get on the floor and dry hump each other, when it's men doing it, it's awkward and I change the channel.

UFC is a poor mans boxing. There's no defense. Their participants are not dedicated to their craft which leads to some of the most outrageous KOs and cheap thrills ever produced in professional combat sports. Let's take McGregor for example. His so called skill doesn't translate well against bigger opponents who are bums like Diaz. He gets tired after 2 rounds as a striker and he's supposedly the best. The sport is a farce as far as quality. Only in this new ADHD social media age the UFC organization is taken seriously.

Even last night, McGregor discounted Alvarez as having no attributes in the post fight interview. I've never seen a guy get hit on his head and bleed from his ears until last night. Alvarez has no business continuing as a fighter. Half of their fighters shouldn't even be fighting anymore. They're just sacrificial lambs for cheap thrill entertainment that today's dumb down masses are entranced with.

I doubt that is true, manny was made out to be some humbe god human being back then. Also, remember he has Asia's support.

I'll watch ufc everyonce in a while and the hype just is not there like it was for boxing during a big fight.

He can't be that one dimensional, he's a wrestler who traded with one of the better stand up fighters in Wonderboy and did quite well.

I think he walks right through McTappers best and khtfo.

Conor is really a big 155lber, he looked huge against Eddie.

Woodley is probably a similar height and reach to McTapper

And that makes boxing a poor man's muay Thai because they can't defend against kicks and their clinch skills are extremely limited.

    What a silly post.

Their craft is MMA. No **** a boxer is gonna have better attacking and defensive hand skills compared to an MMA fighter. Much like an MMA fighter is gonna be better at MMA attacking and defending than a boxer.

They both train for completely different sports.

What I'm getting tired of is all the constant UFC/MMA game releases. Whatever happened to Fight Night Champion? Are they ever going to bring out an updated version?

Calm down, this was big because NY legalized MMA in their shitty State.
UFC is a promotion, they compete more with Bellator and WWE than boxing really.

Then he would have a few loses because he has a suspect chin and bad defense. There is no undefeated eastern euros in MMA buddy. That only applies to boxing.

Don't worry he is begging for Dana to put him in with a chin checker.

It's not ggg it's his peers that are running. Can you believe that Ward ran into Kovalevs arms rather than facing ggg. It's almost career suicide. Like Hatton once said if you caught ggg with your lady in bed you would tuck him in and shut the lights lol

Some say his hand wraps already do that, which is how he killed somebody in the ring.

The quality of fighters in mma is **** poor in comparison to boxing. My McGregor comparison goes to show that he's their best fighter but even he gasses as a striker after 2 rounds which also shows he doesn't work that hard. A majority of their guys lose due to lax training. And I don't care about your different platform argument. Properly throwing and defending a punch is quite universal regardless if it's mma, boxing or kickboxing. Even McGregor punches with his chin up. If you read Bruce Lees Tao of jet June do, his stance diagramed throughout the book is similar to Floyds stance with the lead shoulder in front of a tucked chin. I would say 99% of fighters in mma don't tuck their chins bro. Also let's use the woodley vs wonder boy fight last night as an example.wonderbiy was standing right in front of woodley with his hands down. Me being the only boxing fan at the fight party was screaming straight right and sure as **** when woodley started throwing it he knocked down wonder boy twice with right hands.

My point is these guys in mma are not skilled trained "professionals". They are almost the equivalent of if you took guys from jack ass from performing stupid stunts to actually have them begin to fight in professional fights. These guys randomly get ktfo every other fight in mma. UFC is purely for entertainment purposes like bum fights. There's little merit for being a champ in that organization.

If McGregor actually fought a guy without spaghetti arms like Diaz and Alvarez, he would get exposed again. He's no different from anyone who's come before him in that sport.
