wbc has said in this article fight will take place / although stiverne has to pay wbc money.

IF stiverne is be beleived and it seems the testers must have backed up his story then he did take this dietry drug on the spot in front of the testers .

if drug testers did not know this contained a banned substance hardly likely that stiverne would have known / pharmacist also at fault.

moral of the story WBC have another nice little payday / stiverne is now short of £75k .

in this instance i am giving him the benefit of the doubt .

Why are people complaining about there being no interesting Heavyweight fights? Wasn't Martin v Joshua supposed to be competitive (or an easy win for Martin) according to many?

 

So Povetkin fails a test for a substance that was legal when he took it and Wilder pulls of the fight and him and him and his supports claimed they wanted Povetkin throw in prison. Now Stiverne fails for a drug on the banned substance list when ingested and Povetkin goes ahead with the fight.

Just goes to show what complete scumbags Wilder and his supporters are. Hypocrites that sullen the sport.

 

Povetkin should call the fight off just like Wilder did.

 

Povetkin would look like a hypocrite here if he didn't go ahead with the fight he's a cheat just like Stiverne is. Both cheaters fighting I have no problems with this. Salido was in a similar position earlier this year with Vargas and I said the same thing then to.

 

Did Salido call off his fight with Vargas? No and he cheated just like Povtekin did. He would have looked like a hypocrite for calling off his fight with Vargas.

 

Difference is Povetkin isn't looking for any excuses to pull out of the fight no matter how flimsy..
