Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

Floyd easily. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it's a UD because Floyd would even run and potshot an MMA fighter. It would be too risky for him otherwise. In MMA? Conor destroys him.

 

Mayweather wins in boxing ring. Conor wins in the cage.

Conor's kicks are big part of his striking arsenal. Without it, he wouldn't be as successful as he is. He's not a boxer, he's a striker. If you let him kick, Floyd would get his legs kicked from under him.

 

I'm trained in MMA and this is one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Stop making the MMA fan base look stupid. You are doing us all a disservice.

 

I'm joking ya dumbo. I'm not trained in MMA, but I train in BJJ and casually train in boxing.

 

You actually train to be a BJJ-Blow Job Junkie, why that's wonderful. I thought it was against your religion to be a man meat swallower ,but you train in underground dungeons . Your knees must be mutilated from all of that BJ....J?

Mayweather isn't KO-ing anyone!!? It would be another boring fight with Floyd running around the ring to earn a boring victory.

Floyd smashes connor to pieces in a boxing bout and Connor smashes Floyd at MMA its pretty much that simple!!

 

My friend John is a well known MMA writer and occasional part of Conor's backroom team.

He assures me that it - like lots of Conor's antics - was all a publicity stunt on his part and only team Mayweather were serious about putting something together.

It's not happening.

 

I dont believe anyone really thought it would happen!

 

I remember facebooking him about it and he told me how funny they thought it was that the media were eating it up.

Conor's comment about Mayweather scurrying round the showtime offices trying to get his money together for a bout did make me laugh though.

At this point he doesn't need Mayweather for a payday. He generates huge sums by himself.

Oh and in a boxing match Floyd wins at a canter. In the octagon Conor almost definitely murders him lest Mayweather can catch him on his way in with those little gloves on like Mercer did to Slyvia.

 

Dunno about that. He seems to use his kicks to draw them in alri. But apart from a few kicks to his opponents shins what kick had McGregor ever landed and on who????? I can't think of anything

 

It's the clinch game and takedowns that McGregor wins with. He'd put a bad beating on Floyd on the ground.

 

He kicked Diaz's legs until he lost most of his mobility. Mayweather isn't trained to avoid kicks, he just isn't. Leg kicks, high kicks, he doesn't know how to anticipate them yet. And while McGregor isn't great on the ground, but he's still 100x better than Floyd on the ground.

McGregor isn't going to keep the fight standing if he feels he's going to get outstriked.
