    'He will fight dirty (ward), I will break his hands and shoulders.' This is fighting talk, it mentally prepares you and instills determination and grit into your character. some people will say kovalev is being insecure and unsure, but he has already said ward is a great fighter and will be hard to beat.

    remember when fight night comes, and youve been training like a spartan warrior, you hate the opponent opposite to you, fighting dirty is something kovalev has focused on and will krush it out of ward with brutal straight arm punching.

    ward is showing complete confidence in his abilities, calm and collected. so they are both in a good mental state.

    this is great news...if andre ward loses he already has a perfect built in excuse....his shoulder is injured.....i feel like its been used before but this is great news for ward...hes in a no lose situation now

    like i said...perfect built in excuse...you have a guy basically saying hes going to break someones shoulder....you dont get points for landing punches to someones shoulder.......ward cant lose here

    At least it's believable, more believable than a guy who was severely dehydrated despite fighting at his alleged walk around weight.

    this is too good to be true for ward...if ward wins he wins..if he loses he can use an injured shoulder as an excuse and no one can hold it against him.......

    why are you talking about points son? lol
    ward will have no shoulder, he loses. kovalev shoulder is raised, wards put in a cast.

    oh i know....but as fans we can make excuses for ward if he loses and no one can hold it against us because weve seen the shoulder injury excuse before and how it works....and now we have wards opponent telling everyone how he'll target and break wards shoulder if hes frustrated and thinks hes losing.......this is great for ward....even if he loses the fans will know why

    yeh but why is shockmaster talking about points if kovalev punches wards shoulder and breaks it? loooooooooooool

    no point scored for that punch, but ward has been stopped and kovalev wins by tko! :borra2::meparto:

    in that scenario kovalev gets 0 credit for the win.....hes telling us if he gets frustrated hes going to target wards shoulders? why would u target an area that doesnt score points? how many guys have you ko'd from a vicious shoulder shot?

    kovalev is basically saying hell look for a way out if he gets frustrated by ward.....

    kovalev gets 0 credit for beating an injured ward

    Since Ward knows that Kovalev plans on breaking his shoulder, Ward should have some salt sea water in his corner to apply to his shoulder and magically heal it.

    there will only be an injury dealt by kovalevs hands lol and so he wins by tko, and punching a shoulder out to disable a gaurd is a great strategy which takes great accuracy and ring smarts, knowing a broken shoulder will drop the opponents guard and leave him open to head shots.

    KOVALEV TKO WARD, ward has a broken shoulder and probably a broken jaw in the process.
