That all top athletes in a sport are hype jobs doesn't make sense. It's a younger sport and there are way more ways to lose. Also the ref can't save you when you get knocked down.

In the Octagon you dumbass. Not a boxing ring. You're delusional if you think Conor can't grapple. Completely dominated top fighter Max Holloway on the ground, able to defend submissions and sweep the likes of Chad Mendes who's a top wrestler at 145, able to stuff takedowns from Eddie Alvarez a solid wrestler. His defensive grappling is good enough to point where he shines as a striker in MMA. That's saying something. It's not GREAT but it's certainly serviceable.

Being able to stop a take down doesn't mean you can take someone down?
GGG wrestles with guys much bigger than little Conor for fun and holds his own
GGG is much bigger than little Conor and will make him do the stanky leg with the first Jab he lands

    GGG Rd 1 KO boxing.
    GGG Rd 1 KO mma.
A boxer will always have a huge punchers chance in mma. Can't say the same for an mma fighter crossing over into boxing.

GGG with some cross training... Plausible. Rosado? STFU. As it stands McGregor would be a heavy favorite over both in his own sport.

Because you CONSTANTLY fight THE BEST and there's more ways to lose.

And what has going something like 34-1 over TWELVE YEARS done for Brook? He only stepped up after TEN YEARS. Idiot.

Well they do have a huge fan base of trump supporters who think Ronda Rousey would beat Floyd at Mma.

These tards would bet all of their food stamps on it probably

    Spot on.

The thing is is that it is MUCH easier to land a trip or takedown than it is to land a KO shot.

A KO shot HAS TO BE A WELL PLACED punch or the person getting laid out has to be sloppy. Scoring a takedown is MUCH easier, as is clinching a striker. I had this debate with my boxing coach as I also grappled, and he was amazed at how he couldn't land anything of significance when we'd play the scenario out.

Historically, grapplers have DOMINATED Boxers. Then again, you HAVE GOT TO HAVE the right style to beat an MMA'er under their rules. Tyson, Benn, Manny - those guys with HUGE power and an attacking/overwhelming style would do well. A counter-puncher would get mauled so badly it's not even funny. A style like one which Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Mayweather use would be seriously terrible to go into MMA with.

Boxers are SERIOUSLY bad people, a different level of toughness (to a degree I suppose), and there's no shame to lose to someone who is more well-wrounded than you (duh), but don't get it twisted than an MMA'er on a serious roll of wins coming from striking means that a Boxer can do the same. Just because some of these guys don't use their ground game, doesn't mean they don't have one. And no MMA'er ALIVE would dare to stand-up against a feared boxer when A) they can get the win by NOT boxing him, B) know just how dangerous he is.

Golovkin is MUCH bigger than McGregor, even trying to take The Triple Goodness down would be difficult due to the size advantage. But I still give McGregor a slight advantage in the octagon due to his kickboxing.

The thing is UFC isn't MMA, soccer kicks are still allowed in MMA, so we have to allow them in this fantasy match up.

Randy Couture would get his head kicked in if soccer kicks were allowed against James Toney

Trump supporters dont like Ronda Rousey as she represents militant feminism. Get your facts together, many SJW's root for Rousey on a daily basis, SJW's are liberals. You fail at being witty.

Some MMA fans are tards some boxing fans are tards, as you are clearly demonstrating.

Fair enough, when I was watching the election and seeing the trump supporters partying it up I could just picture them wearing tapout tshirts and cheering for ehonda
