If ward wins tomorrow the sport of boxing is officially dead

Can't wait to see Andre Ward get KO'd. He is a bum and I wish to see him lying on the canvas. It would serve him right by claiming to be #2 P4P for so many years and not doing anything. He really hasn't had a real test since DRAINED CHAD DAWSON. You better believe that this will be much harder than that. Ward probably hasn't been in there with anybody as good as dawson in a long time. And this is Dawson. If you go back 5 years you can see he fought Froch, but Froch is smaller, less athletic and less skilled. This is Andre's big test. I don't know if he will pass. Hoping that he won't.

Fights like this are the perfect example of quality over quantity, Just because something sells like hot cakes doesn't mean its great. Look how much trash music tops the charts while other great quality artists have much smaller fan bases.

I am a UFC fan, It has some good match up's but its much more entertainment based, Similar to WWE and the old WWF, Most of the fan's just want to see somebody get ****ed up, While real boxing fans appreciate the sweet science and art of the sport.

This is one of the greatest match ups in recent years, This has the potential to be a truly legendary classic fight. To imply this fight is in anyway bad for the sport is utterly ridiculous.

Honestly, the staredowns of Joanna Jedrzejczyk are already more entertaining than Andre Ward in the ring.

 

It does not kill boxing. Hopefully it starts a trend for these other fighters to start fighting each other. These new guys like GGG don't understand you have to take risks and fight names to build your bank account. Internet hype and being what trends is not enough otherwis GGG would be a cash cow but he's not. There's plenty of matchups out there that can be made.

 

Ward is a very good fighter, but unfortunately, he's boring as hell. Look, Mayweather pulled it off by talking a lot of **** and then when the fight came he would put on a boring performance. The audience seemed disinterested, and after the fights, no one really talked about them with excitement. People gobble up anything just to be part of the moment. So maybe Ward can do the same. Doubtful, as even though Mayweather was a lame **** talker, he at least tried, that plus his undefeated record, and Oscar and Pac, carried him.

You have lost your mind. If Ward it will be no different than 9 out of every other 10 times a World Class Technician beat a power puncher. How hard you hit is not the end all in boxing. In fact it's one of the lower skills a fight would chose to have if he could choose. (Of course he'd choose it though, lol)

Plus, please tell me the last time an Eastern European became ahuge PPV star?!? I'll wait!!!

 

If Ward wins, I'll be happy. He fights the best and is obsessed with LEGACY. I want guys like him and Lomachenko to take over. Period.
