Pure boxers don't resort to fouling every chance they get when things get difficult.

This is indeed a boxing forum and so we cherish fighters who actually display boxing skills. From what I recall headbutting and elbows were never considered boxing skills.

 

So why are Duran and Hagler two of the greatest of all time?

Ward's probably the worst though, he can fight on the backfoot and still find time to butt.

The video shows a master boxer at work. These newbie fans don't understand what they are watching.

 

Been watching boxing for over 30 years. Can't remember a fighter throwing as many elbows.
He's one of the most prolific headbutters too, but that's nothing particularly remarkable. The elbow work is astounding though.

I couldn't watch more than a couple minutes of that bs because I've seen every ward fight more than twice and know he controls his opponents with his arms and head, as did fmj, hops, rjj, select, Hagler, Duran and every great fighter you've heard of.

Ward mauls probably more than most which is why he and Bradley and holy are known for head butts. tonight ward is stepping in that ring with a fighter he's never come close to seeing .

literally , l can't see ward winning, yet at the exact same time I can't see ward losing. gun to my head I'm going with Kovalev , I'm even picking Kovalev to win the boxing match then tko ward late between 9 and 12.

Seriously CST this is quite pathetic even for you. I'm actually leaning a bit towards SK here but the constant underappreciation of Wards skill set and fighting heart from a good handful on this site is childish. If SK is a good as marketed and as good as I rate him Wards tactics shouldn't be the deciding factor in this fight. I'm trying hard not to let the insecure supremicist that haunt this forum influence my decision here.
