Crews is swatting with hooks while turning herself counterclockwise and yanking her upper body and head back to avoid counters. Shields is brushing a jab across Crews' right cheek and throwing her right cross hard behind it but getting stumped on Crews' broad left shoulder.

Shields is showing a few more dimensions now, incorporating more body punching as well as feints, stance switches (equally effective at southpaw), and sidesteps with an overhand power shot catching Crews high on the skull at the base of her mohawk. Crews is getting her touches in as well but considerably fewer connects, throwing about the same and missing far more, and less solid.

Round 4

Shields is waiting to punish Crews with a pinball-launcher right when the larger-boned woman comes forward. Crews is undeterred, sticking out a Wlad Klitschko style frozen-in-midair full-extension jab to joust her way in on Shields, absorbing punches as needed to get there. Once inside Crews is slapping down with left hooks and chopping with the right as she chases after Shields, eating big counter overhand rights.
