I always fancied Australia for the US cards - Sunday afternoon BBQ, Beer and Boxing sounds like my cup of tea - cept they pay through the nose for boxing apparently. Been up since 6am decorating the lounge and now I got the TV propped up on the sofa and everything else under a dust cover. Gonna slap on another coat of emulsion after the fight then off for some shut-eye.

Hooker's defense leaves a lot to be desired. He's getting hit with a lot of overhand rights.

These aren't bad fights, but this is the biggest fight of the year, deserved a better undercard.

If Ward doesn't win I'll chew on my own balls! Ward is going to school Kovalev so bad it will be embarrassing!

    Trust me

Holy ****, Hooker throws wider hooks than Deontay Wilder.

29-28 Pérez, staying low and compact, streamlining his attacks with straight body punches and line drive combos on the chin. Hooker just lobbing the jab casually, bouncing on his toes outside, adrift.

I'm not liking what I'm seeing from him on the whole. With his size, and seeming athleticism, he should be doing a lot of things differently I think, starting with a tighter, snappier, more active jab.

Yes it's early and there is a long way to go but Hooker looks very underprepared for this type of fight, he looks slightly lost and out of ideas already, very predictable, no variety in his work.
