    1) the match was incredibly close. It could have gone either way. I'd had prefered a draw.
    2) I WANT TO WATCH A REMATCH!

    3) CST has no fkng idea at all about how to score a fight properly. NONE. ZERO.

That may be the case but that's not how it's scored...

Foreman always said that you had to go and take the guy's belts, Ward didn't.

What does it mean that Kov's power made Ward run the WHOLE freaking fight? Did that have a visible effect? Run from a fight and you win the belt. Only in ****ing Vegas is that expected, hell you can even get a ****ing TUE for illegal IVs.

Why are people crying about the decision it was VERY close, and Ward being at home swung a couple of the rounds to give him the fight in their eyes.
Again, Ward wasn't at his best you could tell, in a rematch I think he'll make it a much cleaner victory and not get dropped.

Lmao at the crybabies claiming robbery and bitching about american judging. Eastern European judging is a joke. Everyone agrees it was a good close fight. A one point win isnt a robbery in a close fight regardless of whether your favorite fighter lost or not. Kovalev should have fought like a champion instead of a 4 round fighter. My suspicion is the bodyshots slowed him down. When your best victory is a conservative fight against a 50 year old man is it really shocking he faded down the stretch against his toughest opponent to date?

The difference on all 3 cards was Ward winning the 12th. I didn't think he won it, but there you go.

I had it 7-5 Kovalev with the knockdown, but hedged my bets by taking Ward on points in the ban bet thread. Anybody with half a brain should've seen that Kovalev wasn't winning a close fight here.

I have to take my hat off to Kovalev. He made it fight an ultimately even fight. I thought it would've been extremely highly competitive but not even. We all know how good Ward is, this should show how good Kovalev is.

    kov won.

    It was a close fight.

Kov won six clear rounds and up to three more swing rounds.

So in rounds 9-3, 8-4, 7-5 or 6-6 were all within the realm of possibility.

If you give Ward all the swing rounds, he still loses on account of the KD.

Nov learned what Pac learned in Bradley 1.

If you're a foreigner fighting in the US with three American judges, you need the KO to be assured of victory.

Ward told Max: “I knew it was a close fight. You never know how judges are going to score it,”
    Crowd boooos loudly

Kov told Max: “It’s the wrong decision. I don’t want to say my opinion, there are witnesses here. Everybody saw what happened,”
    Crowd cheers loudly

Level? Fans will complain about home field regardless where it's fought.

    O beautiful for spacious skies,
    For amber waves of grain,
    For purple mountain majesties
    Above the fruited plain!
    America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
    From sea to shining sea!

And Ward's spastic army of groupies claim he ''Dares to be Great'' for being gifted the golden opportunity to win 3 world titles in one fell swoop in his own homeland with 3 US judges and a US referee and a $5 million paycheck. lol

Talk about the deck being stacked in your favour. That's as stacked as the deck can get.

Problem is when you sweep 4 rounds with a knockdown, you only need to win 2 more to win the fight. Ward didn't shut him out the remaining 2/3 of it.

Ugly fight, Kovalev should have won and I fear the rematch won't be prettier. Not a robbery, but of all possible scores they chose the only one, that would give Ward the title, go figure.
