Anyone who thought it was a robbery : how many rounds did kov win by? is it more then 2 ? no? yeh didnt think so... so u can hardly call it a robbery.. more then 2? yeh find urself a new sport

 

Kovalev landed more jabs, more power shots, scored a hard knockdown ... he won every aspect of this fight but the score.

Terrible verdict.

How does a guy lose three world titles when he not only won in every statistical way you score a fight, but he also flattened the challenger along the way?

Ward didn't land more jabs. He didn't land more power shots. He didn't score any knockdowns. Kovalev beat him in every way.

Ward's face was beaten up at the end. He was surprised when he got the nod. Kovalev was unmarked and wasn't even winded.

Just awful.

The knockdown only counts for one point. Most people who claim robbery don't score the fight live.

Kovalev was not the only one who was robbed in Vegas tonight, for example. Hook lost big to Perez...................the crowd booded....................Kovalev's contract calls for a rematch, so I recommend that Kovalev demand neutral judges, the ref did OK, but I am tired of criminal boxing. Harold Lederman had the scores more correctly, 116 - 111 for Kovalev. Even Roid Jones thought that Kovalev should have had the decision. Ward needs to go into wrestling...................Kovalev should have gone for the knockout, esp. when he had Ward on ***** street...............he should have know about the criminal judges.............I have seen bad decisions for years..............

 

He scored more jabs and more power shots, too. And he scored the knockdown. And Ward backed up the whole fight.

Ward didn't outperform Kovalev in any way you score a fight.

That was a bad decision. No matter how you slice it. Ward didn't do better in any aspect of how you score a fight.
