    Yes he would.

    Ward has slipped significantly.

The shots from Kovalev that Ward ducked would be connects by Golovkin.

Earlier in Ward's career, good fight. Right now, it's a mismatch.

I was thinking GGG would have cut off the ring and smothered him to death after the first knock down. Ward wouldn't be able to breath. Kovalev let him off the hook.

GGG is a good middleweight. He doesn't belong in the ring with the Ward or Kovalev we saw tonight. He's too small. Kov showed tonight he is a more versatile boxer than given credit for previously. P4P he's better than GGG.

I still would have liked to see GG v Ward at 168 though. Although again GGG's reach disadvantage would be too great.

Nope. Ward would shut him down.

GGG is on a different level and not afraid of taking a punch. Easy work for Gennady and a KO in round 4-6.

Abel: if Ward wins we'll fight him.

    .....

    Abel: Kovalev won!

    Looks fishy to me.

No. Those wide left hooks of GGG's would never make their mark on Andre. GGG would get methodically broken down.

Actually Golovkin's defense is better than Kovalev's. It all depends on the style he wants to fight with. His defense is very fundamentally solid when he doesn't want to prove how tough he is. Basically, if you touch Golovkin he wants to be touched. Also, he's good at making you so afraid of his power that you don't throw. He's better at Kovalev at using his advantage in punching power to the point where even if Kov hits harder, GGG can do it much more effectively causing a KO.

Don't want to here **** about GGG its easier to say when you fight competition below the likes of Sergey Froch Kessler Abraham Dawson etc everytime a fighter wins a close decision people scream robbery did it ever occur to some of you that maybe Sergey brought the best out of Ward and vice versa smh

That will bother Kovelev for the rest of this life, he could definitely had stopped Ward if he went for the kill there.

He payed him too much respect at that point.

GGG will would never have stopped cutting the ring off and would have eaten those jabs all night instead of being overly weary of them like Krusher did.

I don't understand this argument. If he is such a big MW why is he smaller and getting outweighed by most of the Middleweights he fights? It doesn't add up.
