Side note: That verse by Jesus (mentioned also in Mark 13:32) seems like Jesus is affirming the Jewish idea of God, and is actually refuting that he or the Holy Spirit is God (he's rejecting the idea that he or the Holy Spirit is all-knowing, an essential quality of God).

Both Lampley and Letterman were both full of hate. It was ridiculously obvious and even both RJJ and Kellerman got sick of it at some point.

 

Lederman is just an incredible buzz kill. I'm tempted to mute the sound when he's giving his usual spiel. I don't know what it is about this guy, but he just has a way of just sucking the life out of a prize fight in a way that I can't truly describe. He seems to have a habit to just give rounds to the guy who's winning to either make the fight seem less competiative than it really is or to just intentionally act like the guy you are rooting for has no chance when he clearly does.

I can't explain it, but when he scored the 9th round to Kovalev, it came across that he just didn't appriciate the work that Andre Ward was doing. It wasn't so much that he scored it against him, but it was his explanation of why Kovalev was winning that really felt like I was being insulted as a fan for thinking Ward won the round. Thankfully Max came to the rescue vehemntly disagreeing with Lederman on more than one occasion.

What's sucks so bad about this man is that is that I really like the HBO Crew (Jim, Roy and Max). I really think these 3 guys work together as a team but for some reason every time they throw it back to Lederman it's like nails on a chalkboard and I must admit it affects my enjoyment of the fight. Even when his card is reasonable, his screeching explanations still seem to distract me from concentrating on the fight.

 

Lederman just likes come forward fighters. It's not racism, go watch how he scored loma/salido, he gave like every close rd in the first half to salido.

 

Lampley on the other hand.. IDK dude is fking suspect.

 

Oh absolutely how many times did he refer to his father and told folk to prey to him,to worship Jesus as a God goes against the what the bible teaches.

 

I'm on record here for years stating my opinion of Lederman and other nearly blind boxing shoe-ins and announcers.
How a person with poor vision and no real boxing experience can be given the best seats in the house and still not see the action is amazing. Amazing that such incompetents actually get paid to under-perform.
US network Boxing announcement has far too many people of European decent who will always show bias towards European fighters in the US.

 

Re Ledderman the mans off his rocker,I've rewatched that fight and whilst I still have Kovalev winning by the same margin Ward got I have to concede that a lot of the rounds were so close and as such hard to score for either guy?

 

Lederman has the same scoring skills as CST. NONE.

 

Bull****, if Lederman was that pro EU he would have scored close rds to Loma against Salido.

SKYS commentators on the other hand were very neutral in their commentary,Paulie M had Ward as did a few other SKY pundits though they conceded that it could go either way?

 

I never will forget when pbf fought Hatton he had Hatton up in that fight midway through.The guy can't score a fight to save his life.

 

Leaderman will eventually go the route of Larry Merchant. He has outlived whatever usefulness he might have had and will be put out to pasture.
