SJW's are irrelevant here, you and I hate them equally, but its not a great comparison in this case, nor is white knighting. A sportsman who's supposed to be a "Son Of God" should have a little honor and integrity shouldn't he? Nothing wrong with giving the best opponent he's ever faced a little credit is it? What would it hurt, his lying does him no favors and makes him no fans, what are people to believe, Ward or their own lying eyes. He knows and everyone else knows that was his hardest fight, he should act like a real man and give credit where credit is due.
Perhaps a mistake on my behalf so.... Ah listen, I could count on all the fingers in China the amount of sportspeople who thank Jesus, thank God, praise be to Allah etc. who're dishonest, lying and deceptive people. And in particular, Boxing is riddled by this type of person. From what I gathered he did give Kovalev some credit, but he's under no obligation to play kind, especially after the way Kovalev was prior to the fight. Being humble after a victory is fine, but not mandatory.
Ward is trash. He only won the fight because: 1. He clinched too much (clinching is illegal, it still makes me mad that people think it should be allowed to be done as much as it is). People like Ward, Klitschko, Miguel Vazquez, ruin the sport by making the clinch a core part of their strategy. 2.The judges were all on his side Ward is a man who really will go to the absolute bottom to win a fight. Honestly, if this fight was in the nude he would have probably wrapped his lips around Sergeys pole just to get a little bit of energy out of him (probably would have sucked more out of KK than the body shots ). He is not a real man. I'm glad he was beaten up in front of his family. I know Sergey will make it even worse the next time though. The nice guy thing is really an act I think, bet this guy is a POS diva to his fans in real life.
Obviously he doesn't always over come difficulties , because he ended in worse shape (round12) than he started (round1) Round1 wasn't too bad while round12 he was pretty much being abused
Lmao @ Pantera being harder than Krusher. (in either sense of the word... "more savage puncher" or "more difficult to box")
Yeah I can't ride with ward here. I see it as his toughest. The only thing I can make out of it is maybe he feels back when he fought Miranda he didn't have the experience and was less confident in his abilities as he was when fighting kovalev and he was more experienced. I thought bika gave him a rougher time than Miranda did.
This wasn't a difficult fight for either ,one fought to a snails pace while the other one let him, in what should be a clear Kovalev win. Had Kovalev went at him with solid intension to stop him, Ward wouldn't have got that question because he wouldve been knocked out or soundly defeated where the judges couldn't warp anything .
Wait, wait a cotton picking minute... Neutral political polls showed Trump made false comments and inaccurate statements nearly 70% of the time vs Hilary (no school girl herself, well she does have a law degree from Harvard...) spat false facts 30% of the time. Bad example CST80, aside from the outcome that you clearly disagree with wasn't that fight just pure awesomeness? The skill, determination, grit....even watching SK hold and wrestling more than Ward was extremely entertaining. I can't wait for the rematch....I lost 100 bucks because of those judges though I personally scored it 7-5 Ward I wouldn't have argued 7-5 SK I had to swing rounds.
Agreed, there's a touch of arrogance in Ward's demeanor however I don't see a malicious nature attached to it like some folks. I think the level of passion connected to this fight influences how one would interpret Wards words so I can't blame folks for being a bit dramatic.
